Compared to last week, I couldn’t help but notice how much my physical fitness had improved, no longer having to take frequent breaks throughout the day. I remained beside a fence on my right as I undulated through the bogs, precariously treading over boardwalks across incredibly deep, murky water. Finding what I assumed to be the impassible section, I hopped down onto the beach, before clambering back up to the path as I approached the jagged rocks around Babbet Ness. Ascending fairly high above these rocks, I soon found the short section of path that was indeed completely impassible, having disappeared into the sea.https://deananderton.com/2024/04/02/fife-coastal-path-day-5/

I was completely exposed to the strong wind as the ridge narrowed to be not much wider than the path. We have had our annual monitoring day today, where we log and photograph the conditions of all of the assets in our care at the Wemyss coast.
Caves, paths (not the Fife Coastal Path) and carvings.
And the weather was mostly wonderful, although the most recent storms have made the paths pretty tricky to navigate in places.
