While adding @endurain to the ActivityPub watchlist for fediverse.party, I noticed that @forgejo has added code enabling me to add a fediverse address to a wiki page on @Codeberg, and have it automatically become a link to the profile for that address. Great stuff!
#HatTip to whoever had that idea and coded it, and also to @smallcircles for tipping me off about Endurain, and supplying the info about on the Delightful list that I was able to draw from for our listing.

GNU MediaGoblin was founded by @cwebber. Inspired by GNU social's revival of the StatusNet project abandoned by Identi.ca, they developed a vision of enabling federation features between MediaGoblin services, and between those and services running GNU social, GNU FM, etc. To this end, along with Jessica Tallon (@tsyesika), they got involved with the AP standardisation process, which consumed a lot of their time and organising energy.

There have been many experiments with adding simple ActivityPub support to static blogs, enabling authors to publish their blog into the fediverse to be followed and get commented on. Some of these experimenters have documented what they did, and I've started a list of examples here;

I chucked this together in a hurry, so please prod me about any mistakes, or any additions that could be made to the list.

Fediverse.party is looking for a social blogging platform to highlight. I just posted some musing on possible selection criteria and the pros and cons of various candidates;

Feedback welcome. Here or there, but if you want your comments to be part of the permanent record of our deliberations on this, better to comment on the issue itself (when @forgefed is ready for primetime you won't have to choose).

Kia ora koutou, I've had a bit of a health scare;

I'm OK, but I need to take a couple of days off doing anything potentially stressful, like working on anything related to fediverse.party or SocialHub.
EDIT: Huge thanks to all the medical workers and support staff who helped me last night. See the linked blog post for the story. You folk are legends and this government has betrayed you, along with the rest of us.
