Are there any PWYC xmpp or fediverse services I wonder, I've never really encountered one.
I guess any project that accepts donations could be, but the infrastructure to have a consistent flow of support I think would benefit operators. So a monthly PWYC you can opt for or free usage.
I'm just thinking about it because I saw my $7 to Signal pop up on my banking app, and I don't even use Signal anymore since starting up an xmpp server. I gotta cancel it, but $7 could also be an amazing trickle into a fediverse project closer to home and building community
