A pleasing evening after a slow day. Cooked dinner, did my #Fallout76 daily and weekly in one evening, put the Big Shop delivery away, nipped to the Co-Op for the things we forgot in the Big Shop, shot more people in the dick as RoboCop, set up mandos on my file server so the FDE will unlock off my laptop automatically, and wrote a #Rust implementation of Kaprekar's routine for all four digit numbers, before failing horribly at extending it to five. But I gave up and am going to bed!

Something #fallout76 does is it lets you wear "apparel" over your armor and undersuit whatever that may be. I do like that.
and it makes me wonder if anyone's managed to mod that into Fallout 4. Such that you can run around wearing a vault suit and armor bits but appear to just be rockin' a poodle dress or something.
(yes I know ballistic weave is a thing but that's not what I'm talking about)

#fallout76 update:
Did some exploring north to complete the WV Lumber company thing (or that part anyway) for the Wayward lady.
Additionally had a misc item to find which lead me to the Shelters function. Which is a hatch you build in your CAMP and then go into your own little instance where you can decorate to your heart's content. First one's free! All else costs real-bucks. Of course.
The place you get the shelter from is actually right next to Vault 51, which I just opened and went into. But that'll be for later. Been sitting here just a bit too long and all the aches are on, so time for food, insulin, some pain meds, and sleep. Glorious sleep.

Also I discovered that if you build something on a foundation, the game will save that as a complete item and if you have to/want to move your camp, you can just plop it right back down. (I guess)
I had wondered about that.
So while someone had my space from last night in use, I was able to just plop the shack back into place somewhere else, though the fencing and some crops I'd put in had to go elsewhere.
Now if I could just find a plan for a water machine of some kind. I'm sure its out there somewhere and if I don't stumble upon it after a few hours I'll probably just look it up. probably check player vendors for it too.

One of the saddest bits of #Fallout76 lore is that they stopped Aloe and Vera, the Assaultron masseuses at the Whitespring spa, from giving massages due to "spinal contusions".

I used the Double XP event to reach the 4k XP cap per kill. Normally I never grind at the West Tek research center, but beeing so close to this milestone, I simply couldn't resist.
West Tek is one of the few instanced buildings with guaranteed respawns which makes it ideal for grinding XP, if you can handle the Super Mutants :P

Government aid drop got stuck in mid air over a very high cliff, so I had to use my Jet Pack to get there …and Goat Legs perk to get down again.

Congratulations to No Man's Sky for moving into 2nd place on my hours played list, finally sliding by Cyberpunk 2077 earlier today. And well, well, well behind Fallout 76.
Technically GTA V is actually second but I haven't played it in months now and don't even have it installed anymore, the five minute loading screens were the opposite of fun.

It just sucks you cant use Fusion Cores as grenades that explode like mini nukes in Fallout 76 like in Fallout 4 lol. There's no nuclear physicist in 76.
Maybe if I spend more time with the 18650's, I might actually be able to make a makeshift grenade out of the 48 18650 cells I have in storage lolololol.

I read higher capacity cells trade cycles but it'll be a while till I notice, plus, I also have a pair of these too. I bought em when I was new to 18650's, like less than a week new
It'll be like what I do with fusion cores in Fallout 76 when I use Power Armor. Charge up the drained cores on the fusion core recharger, chuck in the fully charged ones on the armor and it's good for a long while.
