Я сшил разрозненные карты MMO в один бесшовный мир: игрок выходит из города в пустыню и не замечает, что под ним уже работает другой сервер. А всю рутину картографа — импорт, разметку препятствий, разрезание карт и проверку связей — отдаю ИИ. Заодно проверил, что происходит, если доверить ему игровую графику

Половину контрактов моего игрового сервера нельзя записать ассертом: исход живёт в ответе живого процесса, в разметке страницы и в кадре игры. Я записал их таблицами «дано → действие → ожидание», а прогоняет их агент. Рассказываю, как устроен контур проверки кода, который пишет ИИ: контракты вместо юнит-тестов, ревью, где находку надо доказать, и граница, за которую машину не пускают.

Hoje é o último dia do Brasil Ragnarok Online. O servidor está fechando e mesmo que eu não tenha jogado nele há anos, dá uma dorzinha no peito saber que em poucas horas não existirá mais.
Foram muitas horas na Lan House upando meu Arruaceiro e meu Caçador, vários corujões que fui escondido pra jogar, vários amigos que fiz e que se foram no jogo.
Que época gostosa, passar uma semana matando mob pra subir dez ou vinte por cento de experiência, discutir build com meu colegas, dropar carta de monstro ruim e ficar feliz como se fosse algo bom.
Adeus BRO, vai deixar ainda mais saudades do que eu já sentia.

Every time I see an interview with the new CEO of Jagex, I'm more and more impressed by his resolve and where he's leading the company (and thus, the games).

Never before in history has a dying legacy MMO been able to turn itself around like they're doing right now.

I absolutely cannot wait for RuneFest in October, where they'll "lay out the feast" for the players as he put it.
