My #TopFive #MMORPG of all time:
1. #WorldOfWarcraft Classic and #BurningCrusade. My first big MMORPG, and still my measure for how a game world should feel.
2. #TheSecretWorld. The best quests and puzzles I have ever played, across all games, not just MMOs.
3. #EveOnline. A brutally hard economy, a real market and #PvP where knowledge truly is power. No other game pulls that off.
4. #Lineage2. Grindy, yes, but the art style, the classes and their skills are still great. This is where the genre opened up for me.
5. #FinalFantasyXIV. Close to WoW in structure, but after WoW's expansions kept getting easier and I quit, finally demanding again, with its own ideas and the #FinalFantasy world.

Overall, I did not like the lore of World of Warcraft. I liked a few things, such as the makers and dwarves backstory. But, mostly, it just seemed like WoW Lore came second to "what thing do we need to have for our expansion"
Case in point, they just kept adding islands to the map for expansions. Images show progression of islands being added.
