I wanted to counteract some of the increased weight at the front that building an areobatic plane requires for things like the aerobatic prop, inverted oil, and a smoke system. The Sky Dynamics Featherweight flywheel drops around three pounds compared to the Lycoming default. And it looks pretty cool too!

I've got to say, Aero Sport Products really goes out of their way on engine builds. I've switched my RV-10 order to one for an RV-8, just about as different as you can get in every way but a better fit for our (my, really) actual use cases. It is cheaper to build, more affordable to fly, and aerobatic!

I also joined the IAC and am looking forward to being able to compete at the sportsman level someday.

I will be selling the RV-10 tail kit I've got.
