As far as I’m concerned, Trump’s just given the Canadian aircraft company “Bombardier” the best publicity it can get! Come the lottery win, I’ve already chosen my personal daily flyer.
Go Canada!!!

The Arado Ar 234 V6 was the first four-engine prototype of the Ar 234. It used four BMW 003 turbojets in separate nacelles under the wings. It still used the take off trolly and landing skid. https://www.destinationsjourney.com/historical-military-photographs/arado-ar-234-jet-bomber/ #aviation #aeroplane #Aircraft #airplane #AradoAr234 #bomber #Luftwaffe #reconnaissance #SecondWorldWar #WorldWarTwo #WW2

When Germany invaded Poland in September 1939, many experienced Polish airmen escaped through Romania to France, determined to continue the fight against the Axis powers. Among the aircraft types they flew in combat during the Battle of France, was the Morane-Saulnier M.S.406, France’s principal fighter at the outbreak of World War II. https://www.destinationsjourney.com/historical-military-photographs/morane-saulnier-m-s-406-in-polish-service/ #aeroplane #Aircraft #airplane #aviation #fighter #MoraneSaulnierMS406 #PolishAirForce #SecondWorldWar #WorldWarTwo #WW2

Bloch MB.177 French Bomber
To enable the use of Hispano-Suiza 12Y31 engines on the MB.174 airframe, the MB.177 incorporated redesigned engine mounts. The engines proved to be underpowered. The sole example was captured by German forces and taken to Rechlin for evaluation. https://www.destinationsjourney.com/historical-military-photographs/bloch-mb-176-french-bomber/ #ReconnaissanceBomber #aerialwarfare #aeroplane #Aircraft #airplane #ArmeeDeLair #aviation #BlochMB177 #bomber #FrenchAirForce #Military #SecondWorldWar #warfare #WorldWartwo #WW2 #WWII -

Bloch MB.480 Floatplane
Designed as a twin-engined torpedo-bomber/reconnaissance floatplane for the French Navy, the Bloch MB.480 first flew in June 1939. Although testing was successfully completed, the Navy had decided to use landplanes for its intended role.

The Bloch MB.135 bomber made its maiden flight on 12 January 1939 A development of the Bloch MB.131 it was designed as a medium bomber for the French Air Force Despite promising performance, it was not entered into production as it did not represent a sufficient improvement of existing bombers https://www.destinationsjourney.com/historical-military-photographs/bloch-mb-135-french-bomber-prototype/ #aerialwarfare #aeroplane #Aircraft #airplane #aviation #BlochMB135 #bomber #FrenchAirForce #Military #plane #reconnaissanceaircraft #warfare #Luftwaffe #WorldWarTwo #SecondWorldWar

The Bloch MB.134 bomber made its maiden flight on 22 July 1939. A landing accident on 21 April 1940 resulted in seriously damage when a landing gear strut collapsed following the in-flight failure of a hydraulic fluid reservoir. With the fall of France it was not repaired and no further development took place.#aerialwarfare #aeroplane #Aircraft #airplane #aviation #BlochMB134 #bomber #FrenchAirForce #Military #plane #reconnaissanceaircraft #warfare #Luftwaffe #WorldWarTwo #SecondWorldWar

Curtiss Model D Pusher, 1912 (replica). Glenn Curtiss was engaged, sometimes in a legal sense, in a fight with the Wright Brothers for dominance in the world of early aviation - Curtiss machines had ailerons, rather than the Wright-designed wing warping, for roll control. Although the Model D suffered, as did most of the early pusher designs, from higher drag due to the wide-spaced rear fuselage frame members, it was still a useful machine, performing both the first take-off from a vessel (Nov. 1910) and the first landing (Jan. 1911). This replica is of a 'headless pusher', so called by Curtiss because the earlier forward mounted canard control surfaces were omitted in this model #earlyaviation #biplane #GlennCurtiss #Curtiss #aeroplane #pusher #aircraft #navalaviation #USA #WrightBrothers #avgeek #aviationlovers #CurtissModelD #museum #replica
