  1. As far as I’m concerned, Trump’s just given the Canadian aircraft company “Bombardier” the best publicity it can get! Come the lottery win, I’ve already chosen my personal daily flyer.
    Go Canada!!!

  2. The museum has one very famous civilian #Aeroplane and that is the first British #Concorde to be flight tested (in 1969 I think). It’s still the only #Supersonic civil aircraft to have gone into service. Here are its starboard #JetEngines.

  3. Curtiss Model D Pusher, 1912 (replica). Glenn Curtiss was engaged, sometimes in a legal sense, in a fight with the Wright Brothers for dominance in the world of early aviation - Curtiss machines had ailerons, rather than the Wright-designed wing warping, for roll control. Although the Model D suffered, as did most of the early pusher designs, from higher drag due to the wide-spaced rear fuselage frame members, it was still a useful machine, performing both the first take-off from a vessel (Nov. 1910) and the first landing (Jan. 1911). This replica is of a 'headless pusher', so called by Curtiss because the earlier forward mounted canard control surfaces were omitted in this model #earlyaviation #biplane #GlennCurtiss #Curtiss #aeroplane #pusher #aircraft #navalaviation #USA #WrightBrothers #avgeek #aviationlovers #CurtissModelD #museum #replica
