  2. something I found curious about this photo - not Prince Harry at Court, but the Police Officer behind him, who has a #Motorola MTP3000 #TETRA / #Airwave radio - a cheaper variant without the full keypad.

    For last 20 years I've always seen #UK #EmergencyServices using sets with full numeric keypads (they can be used for point to point dialling and in some cases can even directly link to the PSTN).

    I wonder if govt are getting fed up with paying Motorola for the more expensive features and rationing the use of these (and also preparing for when Airwave finally gets closed down and #ESN takes over?)
