    And your wider point about farmers is on target too. 😀🙏🏻

    Here in Australia we have some electric truck fleets that have potential (especially given the distances we have to move stuff to market) but they’re more experimental than bedded down. Farmers - or maybe pastoralists - might have pumps run off solar panels, I’ve seen some in conjunction with windmills (for when the wind doesn’t blow - nothing worse than a wind drought when you have to do a 100km run to check your water troughs) & a few running bore water pumps in the arid regions; small scale but it’s a start. But the vision of a farmer reaping solar energy (with or without battery) to power the home farm equipment is probably a way off yet. 🫤
