For last 20 years I've always seen #UK #EmergencyServices using sets with full numeric keypads (they can be used for point to point dialling and in some cases can even directly link to the PSTN).
I wonder if govt are getting fed up with paying Motorola for the more expensive features and rationing the use of these (and also preparing for when Airwave finally gets closed down and #ESN takes over?)

414 sì. 224 no. Il Parlamento europeo ha dato il via libera a verificare se l'Europa delle Nazioni Sovrane - il gruppo dove siede il Futuro Nazionale di Vannacci, gomito a gomito con l'AfD tedesca - rispetti i valori fondamentali dell'Unione.
Democrazia. Stato di diritto. Diritti umani. Cose non negoziabili, non optional ideologici.
E la domanda di fondo è semplicissima: può un partito che promuove posizioni giudicate razziste, misogine, omofobe, in alcuni casi persino antisemite e islamofobe, continuare a incassare oltre 2 milioni di euro l'anno di soldi pubblici europei?
No, non si tratta di censurare opinioni scomode. Si tratta di non far pagare ai contribuenti chi lavora per smontare i principi su cui l'Ue stessa è fondata.
Chi grida al "precedente pericoloso" dimentica un dettaglio: è un'indagine dovuta, che si basa sui princìpi UE accettati da tutti e tutte le elette, e si sta chiedendo a un'autorità indipendente di controllare i conti e la coerenza valoriale di chi chiede finanziamenti pubblici.
Se l'ESN non ha nulla da nascondere, come sostenuto anche da esponenti del PPE, non dovrebbe avere nulla da temere da un controllo.
Tollerare l'intolleranza in nome della "libertà di espressione" non è neutralità: è complicità.

Good news wollen geteilt werden: Das #EuropäischeParlament hat mit großer Mehrheit für ein #Verbotsverfahren gegen die rechtspopulistische Parteienfamilie Europa Souveräner Staaten #ESN gestimmt, der auch die #noAfD angehört.
