I can see sky! It's true, honestly. Real sky. Not low cloud. Not rain. Not mist but, actual sky. Blue bits and, I remember that. I've seen it before .... somewhere, somewhen? 😳🤔

I've been posting a fair bit of #dreich lately and it's all real but there can be a certain beauty in dull, overcast days. When I walked into the living room this morning, I glanced up towards the glens and spotted this dark, coloured area below the cloud line, quite ominous looking but beautiful, I think. #weather #Scotland #photography #perthandkinross

‘Dreich’ is a word that I love. You could describe yesterday that way. We had rain and mist for much of the day.
“A word that is commonly used to describe the Scottish weather has been named the "most iconic" Scots word. "Dreich" - meaning dull or gloomy - topped a poll to mark Book Week Scotland, led by the Scottish Book Trust.”
It has its own beauty and I’m secure in the knowledge that it doesn’t last long here what with the influence of the sea and the mountains…
