    ... and a couple more bridges from the day.

    #GarvaBridge where we started the walk, built as part of General Wade's military road in the 1730s. Impressive buttresses.

    A redundant bridge in Glen Shirra. The river was "canalised" as part of the Spey Dam water extraction scheme in the 1940s, you can see it running across the pic behind the bridge. But I'm impressed that they left the bridge standing.

  11. At #GlenEsk this week reminded of 138 yrs of great signposting work by ScotWays .... and if you want a wee dander through the eastern #Cairngorms, #Ballater is 26 km away via #MountKeen at a ht of 939m. #FingerPostFriday
