Last night's fog shots on expired #Polaroid Silver Linings film from 2021 shot on the I2. A couple years ago a friend of a friend put out a call for a "Let's hold our own 4th of July musical parade" around Dolores Park and the Mission. Instruments ranged from classic marching band equipment to bells, kazoos, etc... etc... I learned 8 bars or so Stars and Strips Forever on the Toy Accordion and brought my snare drum. #4thofjuly #marchingband #dolorespark #sf

This makes so much sense to make permanent. It's one of the busiest pedestrian areas in the Mission. The sidewalks between #ValenciaStreet and #DoloresPark are always overcrowded.

Unsilent Night is a participatory sound artwork by composer Phil Kline, an ethereal, electronic soundscape played by the audience on boomboxes carried through city streets.

Each participant gets one of four tracks of music in the form of a MP3 or through the app. All four tracks played simultaneously comprise Unsilent Night.
