Morning coffee and some rereading of Emma Goldman.
More material for the manifesto, essay, or whatever it is I’m slowly trying to build whenever I find the time. I’m still not sure what it will become. At least the coffee is good.

Love, Anarchy, & Emma Goldman: A Biography by Candace Falk, 2019
An account of Goldman’s legendary career as a political activist. But it is more than that—it is a biography that offers an intimate look at how Goldman’s passion for social reform dovetailed with her passion for one man: Chicago activist, hobo king, and red-light district gynecologist Ben Reitman.

Anarchism and Other Essays by Emma Goldman, 1911
Anarchism & Other Essays, published in 1911, is the work of feminist anarchist Emma Goldman. Anarchism is a political philosophy which believes that government, or a governing body is unnecessary. Goldman discusses this philosophy and also its relationship to the fight for the emancipation of women and the state of marriage.

" Every elevation of the type 'man,' has hitherto been the work of an aristocratic society and so it will always be—a society believing in a long scale of gradations of rank and differences of worth among human beings, and requiring slavery in some form or other." - Beyond Good & Evil 9:257. "The weak & the ill-constituted shall perish" - Antichrist 2. Can everyone stop quoting Goldman's apologia on Nietzsche. Nietzsche is not a comrade. Co-opt his useful parts, but don't claim he is a comrade. I love many of Nietzsche's writings, but they are not anarchist, express hatred towards women, defend slavery & aristocracy, called Kant "the chinaman" & so on. You can find a person's philosophy useful without trying to pretend they agreed with you on everything. #philosophy #emmagoldman #Nietzsche
