For those of you engaged in endless interminable debate with people who think, despite all evidence, that LLMs can reason.
This paper shows that LLMs cannot produce coherent thought at the level of a 12 year old. (Section 8 limitations).
Why you would trust it to do anything more is beyond me as the marketing claims that they can reproduce searches are clearly a scam.

Funfact: generous estimations give a number of 90 Million words that the learner of her primary natural language gets as input in the first 13 years of her life. That averages to about 19.000 words or a 38 page essay per day.
#chatgpt3 was trained on ~500 Billion words, which would average to more than 100 Million words or two and a half Encyclopaedia Britannicas per day.

Algo curioso de las advertencias de #ChatGPT3 es tener la información del "mundo" a 2021. Sin embargo sí tiene información de 2022 en adelante. Pero, de nada sirve si la usa mal. Obvia que conoce la existencia de Moodle 4 a la hora de indicar la última versión de Moodle

In December, I quizzed ChatGPT on Go related topics. It did pretty poorly (watch here: https://youtu.be/OldZ3hAgsqQ).
Today I asked ChatGPT 4 the same questions. And I was blown away! It's SOOO much better now.
It still did make one pretty obvious mistake, but it corrected itself when challenged. I'm impressed.
I'll be posting the new video soon.

I understand your frustration, but #ChatGPT4 is so very much better than #ChatGPT3, or #ChatGPT3.53 and 3.5 are more proofs of concept with the ability to understand and respond to text inputs. They are fascinating, but they were not designed to be factually accurate.
#ChatGPT4 was designed to pass fact-based exams, and it scores in the 90th+ percentile for all of the exams tested.
As for the date-based limitations, those are policy and process limited.

It handled the back and forth remarkably well. It rolled with whatever I put out there and added reasonable narrative flourishes.
