i have one good use for #ai: suggesting things. first time it srecommended me a weird recipe which was pretty tasty. second time it recommended me a movie i could really relate and it made me cry. now it recommended me a game Kentucky Route Zero which you should definitely play, i dont know where else you can get such an experience. its like with outer wilds, everyone should just go and play without any spoilers. and then for a "book like that" it recommended me Kafka on the shore which was absolutely amazing
(btw kentucky can run natively on #linux and costs 2$ in steam)

I noticed a change in the #HuggingFace #HuggingChat #ChatGPT like service. In the past HuggingChat had an option to allow or disallow the use of your conversation to improve open source #LLM models. Now, that option is gone.
Looking at their #privacy policy, HF makes a very clear #DataPrivacy statement: your data will not be used for model training. Which should allay privacy concerns.
Are you more inclined to use HuggingChat over ChatGPT or #Gemini?

Claude 3 betritt die Arena und wie es scheint kriegt GPT-4 zunehmend Konkurrenz. Persönlich setze ich aus Gründen nach wie vor auf #HuggingChat und die #OpenSource-KI Mixtral:
✅ Für die meisten meiner Anwendungsfälle hervorragend geeignet 👷,
✅ besser als die kostenfreie Version von ChatGPT 💪,
✅ ganz ohne Account kostenfrei nutzbar (auf huggingface.co/chat) 💸,
✅ Datenschutzkonform zu betreiben 🕵️,
✅ läuft bei Bedarf auch souverän auf dem eigenen Rechner 💻 -
Forced to accept a huge pile of indigestible #legalese terms and conditions of some service? Paste it into #AI and have it summarize the disadvantages you're facing as a customer. It's pretty good at it afaict.

I want to recommend a web interface for communication with open source LLM — HuggingChat. On the site, you can use Mixtral-8x7B-Instruct-v0.1, #CodeLlama 70b, #Llama 2 70b, and a couple of smaller models as well.
Also, the site has its own version of #GPTs — assistants. Since the #HuggingChat service is significantly less known than ChatGPT, there aren’t as many assistants yet. But their presence alone pleases me greatly.

Try using #HuggingChat instead of #ChatGPT!
I'm using it since a month now and on average it's as good as if not slightly better than #GPT3.5, especially if you're using one of the specialized models

Digging into a dream, I asked #huggingchat which building has pencil windows with a rectangular top.
It instantly proposed the Seagram Tower. Which does not have pencil windows. The rectangular top it envisaged was the Seagram roof. Not at all what I meant.
Utterly useless but absolute.

j'ai fait une quinzaine de de tests unitaires en #python pour transformer des données d'open data vers des données standardisées.
puis j'ai demandé à un Llama de #huggingchat de factoriser la fonction de transformation.le résultat était plus concis, oui, mais plus aucun test ne fonctionnait avec les résultats attendus XD.

#HuggingChat est cassé "Server response contains error: 500" (et en prime on ne peut pas se loguer car il redirige vers des URL bizarres, qu'Oauth n'a pas été configuré pour accepter).

Seems HuggingChat is using a 30B model. Will it be somehow becomes a paid service due to cloud GPU costs?
Or will play with 7B models eg alpaca locally with RTX3070 with 8GB VRAM. but a lot less wow.
