Well, it was looking bleak right up until the moment of totality/ annularity. But then we had some broken clouds and I actually managed to snap a bunch of photos in rapid succession, some of which are actually dramatic and interesting. I will try to get these up before the end of the day, but I have to drive back to Reno. #Eclipse #annular eclipse

A reminder to our Northeast Ohio followers: The October 14 Annular Solar Eclipse will be only a Partial Eclipse viewed from here forming a crescent, not a ring. In Northern Ohio only about 35% of the Sun's disk will be covered at our 1:08 PM maximum, and will be unsafe to view without specialized solar viewing filters! If the sky is clear, we'll photograph and publish our images. Timing and other info here:
