The inconsistency is what shows the intent. I can see an argument to make for removing things like candy and soft drinks (even if I don't think it's warranted) but the moment these same people end programs that give access to healthy, locally grown, fresh food they toss out any credibility they have to claim they are "concerned about the health" of their citizens.
It's not about health, it's about feeding the rich more money.

This is genuinely affecting me. It's been years since I've been on the truck but I can't help remembering every simple smell of gas call I'd been on...... And then imagine having to continue to work an emergency scene when I know my brothers and sisters have been injured and lost their life. I know it happens now and again but this one is hitting a little too close.

I'm all for doctors getting credit for the time that they work but our healthcare system is such a mess that, often times, an office visit is so cramped for time that things get missed or not fully addressed in the insanely small allotted time.
What this all boils down to is that healthcare conglomerates make more and more money while the paitients and those that directly care for them get shafted.

Yesterday while in the ocean having fun the typical beach sounds were interrupted by more sirens than I've heard in a long time. Found out a few hours later that it was a double shooting on the pier just down the beach from where we are staying.

I'm increasingly frustrated with Highmark. For 5 years I have made payments in the same way (bill pay) using the same bank with the same exact profile with only a single payment a couple years ago not being credited correctly (but quickly resolved). Two months ago they canceled my policy for non-payment and, even with documentation, I fought with 3 different agents before they was corrected and they reinstated my policy. Last week I logged on to their billing site to confirm that last months payment was credited properly and the system said I had no balance due... Great! I sent my payment for next month and now today I get a bill showing I owe 2 months again. How did I owe nothing last week and now owe for 2 months?!
Health care in the US is so broken and in ways that people can't even imagine. This company is cashing checks without crediting them to anyone.

This shit is pissing me off.... How the hell do you agree to block civil lawsuits against a group of drug pushers when any (much tamer) street drug dealer gets jail time and heavy prosecution. These jack asses literally sold heroin to desperate people and they did so knowingly. The Sackler family should be charged with involuntary manslaughter for every person that died as a result of their willful ignorance and serve jail time..... Today this huge GMC pickup that was lifted comes right up on my ass. Frustrated I wedged myself into the slower moving traffic and as the pickup truck passed me I saw the vanity plates on it.... BIGDOG1

I'm a bit fuzzy on the #Murena #eOS options along with what exact privacy implications I face if I log in to the App Lounge with my Google ID.
I have a few apps that I bought on Google Play that I'd like to continue using but I also want to try to keep my distance from #Google as much as possible. I really like that I am given options to start distancing myself from Google even if I don't go the whole way just yet but it's frustrating that there isn't a primer on what exactly I'm giving up if I sign in. Even more concerning is the warning that indirectly states my Google account could end up being locked by Google without any in depth explanation of that threat.
Is anyone using #AppLounge while logged in to #Google that might have some advice? I'm specifically using a #Fairphone4 that came with eOS preinstalled.
I'm also looking for anyone that is doing self hosting of the Murena Cloud.... That's the next thing that I need to assess.

Some health sites are finally starting to cover it too (https://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/pseudotumor-cerebri/symptoms-causes/syc-20354031) but I'm still frustrated that Ehlers Danlos still is "too rare" for physicians to link it to at least some of the cases. Chiari Malformation is even "more rare"I really hope the visibility of all these "rare" conditions increase and the wider medical community starts connecting the dots so that all of us can stop having to fight and actually get the research and treatment we need.
