Pretty gutsy move advertising Blue Cross Blue Shield of NC as trying to lower healthcare costs ... to people in NC.
Like 99% of the people seeing your ad know you're full of it. Are they offsetting tax liability or do they really think our attention span is that underwhelming?

#BCBS refused to give us my husband’s card number. They said to get it online. We can’t log in. They transfer us to tech help who says they can’t help us reset it without the card number. Card has yet to come in the mail. They give an 800 number for the urgent care to call and verify his insurance. We drive 7 miles up the road to urgent care. The #UPMCGoHealth says “we don’t do that, call your insurance and get your card number.” It’s $200 to walk in the door without insurance. Husband got them to call the number anyway, they say they’ll only give the number to the member. I am currently…disregulated. To put it mildly.

NEW: Protected health information of 462,000 members of Blue Cross Blue Shield of Montana was involved in the massive Conduent data breach that occurred between October 2024 and January 2025.
Montana wants to know why this wasn't reported to the state sooner. We'd like to know that, too.

I'm increasingly frustrated with Highmark. For 5 years I have made payments in the same way (bill pay) using the same bank with the same exact profile with only a single payment a couple years ago not being credited correctly (but quickly resolved). Two months ago they canceled my policy for non-payment and, even with documentation, I fought with 3 different agents before they was corrected and they reinstated my policy. Last week I logged on to their billing site to confirm that last months payment was credited properly and the system said I had no balance due... Great! I sent my payment for next month and now today I get a bill showing I owe 2 months again. How did I owe nothing last week and now owe for 2 months?!

I am shocked and elated — we won our grievance against #Anthem #BCBS health #insurance. It took several dozens of hours on the phone, gathering data and finally writing the grievance in exactly the right way.
Anthem had failed to pay any of my spouse’s medical bills in 2024 due to errors in their own files and processes. Thankfully, her providers did not send us to collection for the debts or withhold care. It helped that we paid them 10% and kept them informed. 🎯🎉🍾 -
So what a surprise that the blood pressure monitor is defective. First clue: something maybe the size and weight of a marble is rattling around loose on the inside. It turns on, but the error message comes up immediately and you can’t set time or date. Batteries from China are Heavy Duty Bursto Batteries expired 12/24. I think I’ll learn how to make a complaint, ungrateful person that I am. I only got this because the one I bought myself is too twitchy. #Insurance #BCBS #Medicare

When you realize the new blood pressure monitor is not good quality: label says original, authentic. It’s microcomputer intelligent. Then you see the word arrhythmia is spelled wrong, also the word colors and its memory works for 2 peoples. C’mon Blue Cross Blue Shield you can provide better than this. It was $45 of OTC benefit. #UPDATE to our story on the lawyer who fought his #insurance provider after it denied payment for his doctor-ordered cancer treatment:
A federal judge has ordered Blue Cross and Blue Shield of #Louisiana to pay the full medical bill plus interest & legal fees.
The insurer argued it should only have to pay a fraction of the $96K he'd paid for the treatment.

@mikka Und ich find es immer gut wenn Unternehmen Infrastruktur und 'Dienstleistung' bereitstellen. Kostet ja immer indirekt auch. Manchmal ist es einfacher, das mit diesem Zeug zu regeln, das GELD heisst. wenn man Noshows halt nur mit 50 oder 60 EUR runterkriegt.,.. so sei es. AB dem Zeitpunkt, als das #bcbs KOSTETE kamen MEHR Leute. Go figure. Again: MACH es und guck was funzt. ich komme ;)
