I’ve been told, and personally verified, that Kanopy has what your local library system puts in there. Everyone doesn’t have access to the same material.
Hoopla, on the other hand provides the same collection to everyone who has access funded by their local library.

@thomasfuchs I tend to run mine until I can't anymore, and when it is time to upgrade, I swap platforms to keep it interesting. This time I didn't even go with a flagship (Motorola #ThinkPhone), and for the most part have been happy.
As for camera, my previous 2 phones ( #Pixel then #iPhone 12 mini) could use my nice #Moment lens system. Can't use it on this phone.
I do lament how phone hardware isn't as supported to run different things like my Nexus 4 and nothing seems fun like #webOS was.

@thomasfuchs personally after doing #DomesdayDuplicator captures, there's just no comparison to how GOOD that picture looks on a digital screen. I'm fine to playback on say a CRT or such, but having that clean, pristine analog-digitized copy is just too convenient :)

#Resonite is impressing me lately with just how open content development can be in an open virtual space, giving me great hope for #VR as a medium finally moving into maturity.Same with #Fediverse / #ActivityPub / #Mastodon. Very happy with watching a communalization project slowly take over a mature, undifferentiated market.
Also very happy with some of the stuff that was coming out of the computer chips community before the pandemic, as RTX is an underrated achievement, on top of our ability to run massive systems like AI through CUDA.
And speaking of AI, look into #AIDungeon by #Latitude: having it write tandem stories with the user is exactly the kind of thing the current technology is suited for.
