Modding is pobably one of the most gratifying programming activities, in relation to the effort put into it.
By building on the shoulders of giants, the game's engine, you only need a dozen lines of code to make your ideas happen.
Today I made a simple mod in a couple hours, to solve a pet peeve I had been carrying for months. And I have to say, I feel awesome about it!

Fuck, I love how well #Resonite runs on #Linux... Just, so many years of software that doesn't run well or at all, so many years of having to have Windows on the computer for some bullshit like a game or Audio or Doom Builder or Visual Studio, and just... Not only is Linux just fucking THERE at this point, in terms of having enough software for a complete ecosystem, but Resonite's native build works so well that it's actually faster on Linux for a lot of people, not that I've been able to benchmark this again with my current computer...
...because this one has no Windows partiton, because Linux is at the point where I don't need Windows, and everything I want to run, including high-end stuff like Resonite (and #WiVRn when I want to use ita VR support) runs well on it.
I love that the ecosystem is at this point. I love that Resonite is in that ecosystem. I love computers in general.
