The oyster mushrooms are going wild here this year with the mild, damp weather.
And spore prints are so lovely, as well as handy for helping identify different varieties. I only had an old shoe box to make this one.

I don't see the full movie Barbara to watch on YouTube). Hoopla for movies is 2 credits per film, with 5 per month. There are also audiobooks, magazines, ebooks, music etc on Hoopla. You also have free binge watch sessions (see screenshot).As we each have a card, that gives us more than we could realistically watch in a month (up to 20).

Spore print!
While waiting for definite identification of my (I think) oyster mushrooms I made a spore print. This seems to confirm the likelihood.
The reason I am almost certain of the id is that last year I bought a kit and when it was finished, I took the leftover substrate and any mycelium and put it into dead wood around the place. I had forgotten this, and wasn't even sure if I had put any into this old buried stump. So there's a very good chance these are the result!
I had written to the farm that sold me the kit and the response was that it very likely was, but that I should make a spore print, to be sure. The spores should be white or grey. And here they are!
