  5. Homemade Curry Powder

    I was making our current favourite curry today - Cauliflower, Tofu and Chickpea Curry (I think I already shared that recipe) when I realised that my homemade curry powder was almost out so I had to make more. I've made this recipe for years and really like the flavour. It's so much nicer than any ready made powder you buy. (It's not specifically vegan, as it's just spices, of course.)

    3. Big bowl of plums picked by @StevenKennard (sorry, foxes, you'll have to eat the ones that fell off)

    4. Also, not shown, another about 11 lbs of blackberries picked also by the above Master fruit picker, processed and in the freezer (the berries, not Steven).

    I feel as if I've stood at the worktop and sink all day. I guess I have!

    What about a bit of lemon juice to help it set, too?

    I have made chia jam and it is delicious! I freeze the berries and make the jam as needed, as this doesn't keep long, only a couple of weeks in the fridge. But it saves on cupboard space. #veganRecipe #recipe #wfpb #wholefood

    I love how this dish is so pretty with all the veggies and spices in different sections, ready to go into the oven.
    Once it has been baked like this, the sauce will be made from a section of it and the nuts and raisins added before a final baking. I also added beluga lentil tempeh. Can't wait for lunch!

I understand she's a bit devisive because she equates a #wholefood / #plantbased diet as similar to being #vegan and there are obviously a lot of people who feel passionately about animals.
