Wait, what? Starmer says Farage isn't racist?
Is there another Farage somewhere? Because if he's talking about the #FrogFacedGrifter, then Farage's racism is so obvious it could be seen from space.

Well fair play to Starmer. I see his background as a human rights lawyer is showing its advantages.
The Tories and Reform have been banging on for ages about how we have too many human rights, but they never specify which of your rights they want to remove.
Starmer has at least specified: he objects to articles 3 and 8 of the ECHR. Good for him.
So if you want to be tortured or have no right to a private or family life, then #VoteLabour

Can't help thinking that putting the entire leadership of the US military in one place at one time, and announcing to the whole world the time and the place beforehand, is a pretty huge security risk.
The Rapist must be very confident of his friendship with Putin.

I think moving NHS services more online is a positive development, as long as there is still an offline version available for people who can't or won't use smartphones or similar technology.
So all the government now needs to do is to build a massive IT system to support it.

So I see that Netanyahu has agreed to the peace deal, but only the bits of it he likes.

"Labour says the policy draws a clear dividing line between the government and Reform UK"
You know what would draw an even clearer line between the government and Reform UK?
Not being horrible to foreigners the whole bloody time.
Why on earth do migrants have to "volunteer in their community"? How many native Brits do that?

I'm surprised it's taken JLR so long to get things up and running again after their cyber attack.
Can anyone who knows more about such things than I do tell me whether this is just because IT systems for a company of that size and complexity are just incredibly complex and it genuinely does take that long, or whether it looks like JLR's disaster recovery plan was a bit pants?

Anyone know about Dendrobium orchids?
I have several healthy ones, but then I have this one with many of its leaves going yellow.
What could be wrong with it? Too much/not enough watering? Too much/not enough feeding? Time for repotting? Need to urgently quarantine it away from my other plants?

"Starmer says that Britain has shied away from the topic of illegal immigration."
WTAF, Starmer? You've talked of very little else other than illegal immigration ever since you became PM.
Just imagine what you could have achieved if you'd put all that energy into fixing the NHS instead.

"The plans would require anyone starting a new job or renting a home to show the card on a smartphone app"
Does Starmer realise that not everyone has a smartphone?
If Starmer insists on going ahead with this crazy scheme I suspect it could be his Poll Tax Moment.

Assuming you're speaking English, how do you pronounce "quinoa"?
And I mean how do *you* pronounce it, not how does the dictionary tell you to pronounce it.

I literally cannot think of a single thing that could possibly go wrong with this.

I've been a loyal Ocado customer since 2003 and found their service reliable. But their latest website "improvement" is really annoying me.
I tried other online delivery supermarkets back in the late 90s and early 00s and found them mostly a bit pants, but maybe they've figured out how to do it better by now. Perhaps it's time to give them another try.
Can anyone recommend a supermarket that does deliveries in the south of England?

CW: UK Politics, mention of the Frog-Faced Grifter
I totally believe the #FrogFacedGrifter when he says he didn't put any of his own money into buying the house.
The idea that he'd spend a single penny of his own money to live in his actual constituency is just too far-fetched.

Anyway, now that Mandelson's gone, Starmer needs to appoint a new US Ambassador.
Who do you think he'll choose?

So when #Starmer said the other day that he thought that the police shouldn't waste their time arresting people who incite violence against trans people on social media and should concentrate on going after real crime instead, was this the sort of thing he had in mind?

Now that the corporate media have successfully claimed Rayner's scalp by digging into her taxes, I'm sure they will next turn their attention to a forensic examination of the way the #FrogFacedGrifter avoids tax by getting paid for his media appearances via a limited company rather than to him directly, and will not rest until they have determined whether it is in 100% compliance with IR35 rules, right?
Right?

"Do Reform's economic plans add up?"
A particularly fine example of #BetteridgesLaw
Though perhaps if the BBC weren't so in love with Reform they might have included an estimate of the real figures in the graphic rather than only the fantasy figures.
The message that anyone who only looks at the pictures and doesn't read the words would take from that article (probably most potential Reform voters) is yes, the sums do add up.
-
@Opfoss Rayner clearly at the very least was very careless, and I'm not defending her.
One big difference here of course was that once the corporate media got a whiff that Rayner might have fiddled her taxes, they made sure it was front page news until the truth came out.
I confidently predict that the corporate media will not be asking questions about the #FrogFacedGrifter's IR35 status.
So it will of course have to remain speculation.

You know how when you hear in the news that someone who used to be quite famous but hasn't been active much in recent years has just died at a ripe old age, and you think "Oh, I didn't realise they were still alive"?
Pretty much how I felt on hearing that #MadNad had defected to Reform. I kind of assumed she'd joined them long ago.
