"The group is accused of helping to organise an attack on a factory operated by Israeli weapons manufacturer Elbit in Filton, Bristol, even though they were not present during the raid. All are accused of criminal damage; Plastow is also accused of violent disorder."

I think it's possible that the people behind proscribing Palestine Action might have underestimated the effects of how unsettling this all is for middle-class people who basically trusted "the system" before.
I wonder did they _want_ that effect for some reason, and it's going to be the excuse for something worse later on, or are they just not very clever?
An article from a while back talked about how much the police don't like it either. Some of them joined thinking that their job was to catch villains and protect "the public", and they _hated_ being sent to arrest old people who reminded them of their grandads and grandmas, for sitting around in a friendly way doing basically nothing. The disillusion was bad for morale.
I said before, I think it's "bringing the law into disrepute".

Heavy-handed arrests for people who've dared to say that supporting Palestine Action is a good thing.
"She was woken by a series of bangs on her door at around 1am. ...

Well the govt wants to silence dissent against their complicity in genocide, which is why they abused their power to make #palestineaction a "terrorist group" in the first place.
So it only makes sense they would focus on arresting those making the most noise. -

The media controversies about some criminals that are going to be released early really bore me.
The government are in charge and can easily change the rules just like when they #PalestineAction proscribed as a terrorist organisation and rigged the court case to jail them.
The media are in bed with the people in power, supporting their decisions and rarely questioning injustice. So we know they are never really attacking the government.
We know from many #protests that the establishment never listen to the people. So why do we need to feel outraged about an early release from prison? They don't listen to us anyway and they change the rules all the time. It's clearly a manufactured problem.
We've seen with #Gaza how public opinion is regularly ignored. I'm always suspicious of when the media suddenly show interest in a campaign group because it's nearly always to promote establishment friendly ideas.
