I get it. "Piracy" is such a threat to creators that it warrants spying on everyone and turning all devices into "appliances", but taking everything for free and selling it back to steamroller over the same creators is fine.

So the Rust repo contains a PR to discuss an LLM policy for the project. As expected, lots of comments.
But it explicitly declares many contentious issues (e.g. copyright status of LLM output) off-topic in that discussion, and is applying moderation to enforce this. In order to bound the discussion scope "to the policy itself".
Just... how?

Weather symbols are weird.
There's a black cloud with 10% chance of rain at 3pm, a drizzle cloud with a 44% chance at 6pm and it's otherwise white clouds (occasionally with sun) and 0% chance of rain until midnight (when it stays in the teens chance still with white clouds until getting drizzle clouds at 4 and 5am with a 30-50% chance of rain).
So what's the overall symbol for today?

Isn't that like having your house burgled, then shaking hands with them and agreeing to keep paying them to steal your stuff every month? 🤨

So it turns out that my bank doesn't like Lineage OS. But they allow me to use the app on a tablet that is 5 years out of date and hasn't had a security update since Huawei was expelled from Google.
Where is the logic?
I'm moving to a different bank who isn't so peculiar.
PS: my tablet is safe enough. Its behind my VPN and 🤷♂️, I'm leaving the app.

My wallet has seen better days. So I'm looking at new wallets and…
WTF? Why are people putting note pockets in a wallet but not a zipped bit for coins? Do they expect you to occasionally need to pay in cash, but never get less than £5 in change?
Or is this some weird Americanism where even the dollar is a note and so you just keep throwing the coins in charity collection boxes?
