Just worked on researching how to get #NAT type information on #WiiU and #3DS consoles. It's not quite complete yet, but from analysis from 4 different people (that includes myself) and different networks, I think it should be mostly complete.
It's important to have a NAT type of A or B if you want to play online multiplayer in a game like #Splatoon, so I would highly recommend checking it out if you're having connectivity issues on #PretendoNetwork.

they won't be switching off #2G completely but they'll be moving people off it
I was not expecting #O2 after being the slowest to kill off #3G to announce a 2G switchoff plan in the #UK first. They still have a lot of legacy devices on their network although all customers should have access to #4G calling by the end of the year (afaik #giffgaff is rolling it out and O2 PAYG is yet to roll it out along with 5G support). -

We are genuinely fucked if #GAME stops selling physical games. In my area, GAME is practically the only place that has a decent selection of NEW physical games.
ASDA hardly has anything (probably). Tesco got rid of it. Lidl has never had it. Sainsbury's doesn't seem to have it. Aldi isn't going to have it either. Don't think I've ever seen them in Morrisons but I haven't stepped in those stores for years.
Our only option for buying new physical games will be online. Sure, I'll be able to get used ones from CeX (better for the environment but if you want to get a game close to launch you won't be able to), CashConverters and all the second hand shops (there's apparently a game shop here and Retro Sect is about 10mi or so but still).

With the recent shutdown of #NintendoNetwork, the main functionality of many #WiiU games, including #Splatoon1 and #SuperMarioMaker are completely unavailable if you're not modded to use @[email protected].
We need to stop this happening for future generations and right now, there's a petition on the parliament website to get this spoken about after Ubisoft discontinued an online only game. Please sign it if you're a UK resident to ensure that action is taken.

The £1.50 price rise each year will be arguably more expensive for users on cheaper contracts. My original #VirginMobile plan in August 2018 was 2GB for £5 and #VMO2 charges a price rise of 3.9%+RPI which is more expensive than other operators. In that time, I have not switched contracts and my bill is now £7.38 for unlimited when the #O2 app eventually updates it. That's less than £2.50 in a 5 year period. Absolute scam imo. -
Just as a quick reminder: auroraSuite could potentially be going offline from the Roblox Creator Store today.
I honestly thought about making it free with the suggestion @[email protected] gave me but I think it's honestly unfair that Robux payment methods at a marked up price (since you pay like 40x more tax when going through Roblox lol (75.5% tax Roblox takes, I think it's roughly 2% for Stripe) can't still be offered. Developers from countries such as Brazil and Russia (which are apparently big) are unable to use Stripe (although granted it's understandable for Russia) and developers aged under 18 (such as myself) cannot use it either.

I'm fucking pissed off that this is the way things are. Granted it was only for a month but I helped beta test paid plugins before they were open to the public. Surely I shouldn't now be locked out from this?
I refuse to sell my plugins over $4.99 because I don't think I will get any sales. I do not meet one of the requirements for joining. It is clear that I am either taking things off-sale or making it free.
I may as well just quit Roblox development altogether at this point since I don't have any game ideas and I literally have a few friends that I could work with but that's it.
I'm pissed off.
