In later times #Apple probably didn't want to accept they really reimplemented the whole (?, at least a lot of) Foundation in pure portable Java (this is not the Cocoa-Java bridge!). But they did. This is the removed doc: "The Foundation Framework". 378 pages.

#Swing #Cocoa: It isn't suprising when you look into it. For #WebObjects #Apple not only reimplemented #Foundation in #Java (com.webobjects.foundation), they also made a #Cocoa abstraction layer that mimics layout and behaviour in #Swing (com.webobjects.eointerface.swing).
That one still works (https://fosstodon.org/@lazarus/114252747377471833), while the bridge to Cocoa has been deprecated with WebObjects 5.4 (and thus is not part of its docs anymore).

In 2023, I made a prop Cannon from Megaman Battle Network. It was donated to Desert Bus' Craft-Along fundraiser.
I finally learned a good deal of Fusion360 to create a 3D model. I took the model into Pepakura Designer to make 2D templates to build the majority from EVA foam. Some details were 3D printed.
I couldn't have finished it in time without the help of my family doing some odd jobs 🥰

Segundo intento del partido de ultraderecha VOX para eliminar el mural de ‘Imborrables Vallekanas’.
Bajo el pretexto de las obras del Paseo Federico García Lorca, los de Abascal quieren borrar un mural en homenaje a mujeres del barrio:Geli, Marcela, Margarita, Lola, Áurea y Pepa
En 2021 fue la primera vez que propusieron borrar este mural, que homenajea el trabajo y la dedicación de mujeres de #VilladeVallecas luchadoras y defensoras de la justicia social, la educación pública y la participación vecinal.
Las únicas propuestas de VOX son enfrentar a la población bajo falsas premisas de "Libertad", señalando a Asociaciones o Colectivos Feministas e intentar borrar cualquier retazo de la historia del barrio y de sus gentes.

Charla abierta A 50 años del golpe: militancias lésbicas en resistencia
El día 7 de marzo las activistas lesbianas han establecido, en Argentina, el día de la visibilidad lésbica a partir del asesinato de la Pepa Gaitán, ocurrido en la Ciudad de Córdoba en el año 2010. Además de diversas acciones que los activismos han sostenido en torno a ese día, también se han realizado diversas actividades impulsadas desde el Estado cuando, paradojalmente, sigue sin garantizar el acceso a la justicia para situaciones de violencia contra las lesbianas y mucho menos cambiar las condiciones estructurales que producen esas violencias. Estas condiciones hoy se ven reforzadas por un gobierno que, de la mano del ajuste, agrava las condiciones de precariedad en las que muches de nosotres vivimos, suprime políticas públicas para la población LGBT*IQ+ y legitima, con sus discursos odiantes, las violencias extremas hacia nosotres.
En vísperas del 50 aniversario del último golpe de estado argentino, desde el Programa Sexo y Revolución del CeDInCI @sexo_y_revolucion y Potencia Tortillera: archivo documental del activismo lésbico @potenciatortillera nos proponemos dialogar acerca de algunas figuras que unen las resistencias a las violencias estatales y la visibilidad lésbica: Viviana Avendaño, que fue presa política durante la dictadura (la más joven puesta a disposición del Poder Ejecutivo Nacional); Elena Napolitano (cuya "Carta de persona a persona" fue distribuida en los últimos meses de la dictadura); Martha Ferro (periodista e impulsora del “Sótano de San Telmo”, espacio clave de resistencia lésbica durante los años del terrorismo de estado) y Ruth Mary Kelly (trabajadora sexual, activista clave de la resistencia contracultural entre los 70 y los 80).
Nos proponemos reponer esas trayectorias en diálogo con los archivos, buscando abrir nuevos interrogantes para este presente.

Members from the main opposition party, the conservative Partido Popular (PP), voted against the change and refused to use the translation headsets provided to listen to speeches not in Spanish.
And MPs representing far-right Vox dumped their headsets in a pile on the government benches as they marched out of the chamber after trying to disrupt Besteiro’s speech.
The party’s 33 MPs returned shortly afterwards to listen to a speech by a member of the PP, only to leave the chamber for a second time when the MP began to speak in Basque.
“We won’t be part of this separatist farce,” said Vox MP Pepa Millán.

Dziś wyszedł trzeci i niestety ostatni dodatek do Kingdom Come 2. Aktualizacja mi się właśnie ściąga, więc... w ramach zabijania czasu napiszę Wam o jednym zadaniu z gry i tekście, który dla fanów stał się już "kultowy".
Otóż w jednym z zadań (które samo w sobie jest ciekawą i dosłownie zabawną zabawą z konwencją), mamy za zadanie w lesie odnaleźć konia, który ma na imię... Pepik.
Okrzyk, który wydajemy szukając zwierzaka stał się już ikoniczny na tyle, że... podczas festiwalu KCD2, gdzie odbywały koncerty, w różnych momentach ciszy lub problemów technicznych, z widowni rozlegały się "cytaty" (poniżej linkuję do filmiku z różnymi wariantami dubbingowymi).
Środek Czech, impreza jak by nie patrzeć czeska i wyobraźcie sobie te okrzyki z tłumu "Peeepaaa! Pepicku! Pepane!". Absurdalne i niesamowite doświadczenie, które będę wspominał pewnie do końca życia.
