My submission was accepted for the #DesertBus #CraftAlong this year! I started on this months ago with the hope that I'd be selected, so I'm already about 90% done. This #Nier inspired #CrossStitch sampler has one more row of designs to go before it's ready for ironing and framing. There's 40,000 stitches in this so I've still got plenty left to finish up during the craft along.

Okay, first thoughts of a potential 2025 #CraftAlong project. A sketchbook cover built around an 8 1/2 x 11 inch pad.
Composite construction, hardwood and leather with chicago screws or rivets to attach the frame and leather to the cover.
Front cover is 2 hardwood boards joined by a resin filled chasm with surrounding decorations.
The back is made of 4 pieces joined by a resin middle, all DB shift themed.
Does that strike anyone else as fun, or am I going wildly off towards nowhere?

I never got around to it when I finished it, but here’s my contribution to the @desertbus #craftalong this year. It’s was a bunch of work, but oh so worth it.
