  1. I was just zooming around #Jemison when I passed a couple, tucked away in an out of the way spot, at night.

My #subtitles clarified the transaction I heard when a man said to a woman, in shadow:
Agent: We have company. Good day ma’am.

Did I miss something? Is that part of a #mission or #SideQuest? An #EasterEgg maybe? Or was it just some fun the writers were having?

  2. Has anyone else noticed that the #Apple #SpokenContent #ScreenReader has become #unusable?

Since #iOS 15, #Siri has lost the ability to #synchronize the spoken content of a webpage with what the screen reader highlights, which is supposed to be the entire point of the #accessibility feature

Now the reader is grayed out

Maybe it’s my (much larger than average) font size, or because I use the #DarkNight #app, but now I have to highlight the specific text I want to be read & command it to read

  6. I tried listening to #CNN- more specifically to #JakeTapper

    That 🤬🤬🤬 deals in blood!

I didn’t even have to watch to be repulsed by what he was showing

    He was practically boasting

    This wasn’t #news, it was #repulsive

  12. I don’t follow the #comics and #amnesia won’t help, so is there anyone out there who can tell me what #Marvel’s #obsession with #infinity references?

As I understand, first there are #InfinityStones, and now with #Loki we went from #Mobius to #Ouroborus

Am I missed something? Were there other things I’m missing?

I can’t watch all of the Marvel #movies, so there’s that

  13. This is an invitation to my own personal #AI nightmare

As an #amnesiac, it’s hard to impress to anyone without the #disability just how complicated #memory can be

The author uses this #app, but chew on their #privacy disclaimer. It’s shallow in depth

The AI would grind every last drop of info about me

  14. Hey everyone! Just a word of #warning to #iOS17 users who depend on the #ScreenReader- updating to #iOS 17.0.3 could break the way that #iOS displays a web page. That change could affect how well the screen reads the page. It can even lead to a #NoReadableContent pop up.

    #Apple is looking into it

I know it’s late in the game for this, but if you’re on the fence, this might be important to someone

  15. In spite every attempt to make sure that my phone would not go off with today’s #EmergencyAlert signal #test, my #iPhone screamed, when I later took it out of #AirplaneMode.

#Hyperacusis triggered, and I felt like I was jolted by about 50k volts of electricity, right down my spine

My body didn’t know how to respond for a moment, and it was all I could do to turn off the phone. My knees buckled!

From now on, I won’t be allowing emergency alerts on my phone. It’s entirely too #painful 😔

  18. There are 2 kinds of #posts I automatically skim past. They are intentionally crafted in ways that make them #inaccessible:
    • posts that are #AllCaps
    • posts that are #AllLowercase

All caps is equivalent to screaming, and I’m not letting anyone do that, in my face. Plus, the words run into each other

All lowercase also creates difficulty with separation, but adds #cringe, knowing that the person using it went through the trouble of crafting their preferences to force it
