"If I were a wise and concerned government I think I’d be thinking about how exactly we’re going to be feeding our population over the next 5-20 years. Book(s) 5(a-d) is out the door in my #booksof2024 list - it's the first four books in Ursula K. #LeGuin's #Earthsea series. And what a brilliant entry this one was. Im slightly surprised it took me so long to discover these but our wonderful librarians in #FrederiksbergLibrary strikes again.

I hadn't expected to be updating my books page so soon. I settled down with a new book at around 9pm this evening and for the first time in a very long time read it in one sitting. Which I suppose tells you something about how gripping this book is:

Latest book on the list for this year: Maus.

I read somewhere recently that this book had been banned from some US schools, which seems like a good reason to finally get around to reading it.

Seems like parts of SE Jutland particularly badly affected by today's #StormSurge which has now reached 100 year levels in several towns where measurements go back at least a hundred years.

Remarkably few casualties thank goodness.
