I hadn't expected to be updating my books page so soon. I settled down with a new book at around 9pm this evening and for the first time in a very long time read it in one sitting. Which I suppose tells you something about how gripping this book is:

I read somewhere recently that this book had been banned from some US schools, which seems like a good reason to finally get around to reading it.

My sixth finish of the year is For the Wolf by Hannah Whitten which was the last purchase I made in 2022 and is therefor part of the tbr challenge. I enjoyed it greatly but am not starting the sequel right away because I have a lot of short stories to read in February. We shall see how much reading time and focus I have post surgery in a few weeks.
