After getting this candle from my neighbour, and cookies from others as their way of saying Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas I found myself in the mood for baking some lemon crinkles I've never made before...

the past couple years I experimented with tweaking the batter recipe we used, and they were always chewy or burned. so this year I went back to our original and what do you know - perfection. this batter also cooks a bit faster so that didn’t take quite as long!
