I noticed an alarming number of people - folk who might speak at, or have spoken at #AEASF - who seem so burned out by Twitter they are finding the transition difficult, exhausting, not worth it.
Such a crying shame we have this young, decentralised, fertile country - the fediverse, not just Mastodon - yet folk see the process of starting something new as a chore.
