Memorial Day Weekend - "Remember"
This is a 3-day Holiday weekend in the U.S., meant to be a somber & mindful tribute to the many who served "God and Country" fighting for rights, #democracy, & "the American Way" - when it aspired towards compassion, law, rights, etc.

Well, I've done a fair amount of fishing, but mostly only caught large fish. I found a fish-size-location site I'll use next time. But this means I've now finished 2 of 3 tanks.
But I have a headache now so time to shut down and medicate and try and sleep.
But at least I've finally had some #FFXIV time.

I haven't managed to do drawing for a while. I'm still not through the illnesses. And, while I'm in a much better state now, everything is taking me ages, or my pain kicks off.
I'm just about doing what must be done, but have little energy for what I'd like to do. Which is why the Tapu Lele thing earlier was important for me. Micro-escapism.
Well, I'd best feed the cats and set the coffee machine for the morning.

I've narrowly avoided going back into my cyclical "I'll never be a successful, published writer" thought pattern*. Only just, though.
Going to get meds and sleep. I'll try to write more tomorrow. If my chesty, voice altering illness lets me, anyway.
