Well, at least I've done some basic #FFXIV stuff.
I guess I ought to try LOTRO next time. But tomorrow I need to use my "big screen" time for the voluntary website assistance I do a few hours a week for.
But now I have to take my glasses off because they're giving me a headache. So it's meds and sleep (attempt) time.

And now I'm doing research into affordable, portable tablet computers that will let me explore digital drawing from the sofa, but I can keep sync'd for writing and use for the occasional game, but that won't be the focus.
I got some pennies for my Level Up day, so I should be able to find something without touching our family finances.
Anyway, it's late. I want to game, but I should sleep.

DEF CON 34 is wrapping up, and it’s been another amazing year.
Thanks to the amazing DEF CON Community for bringing the good energy, curiosity and enthusiasm that makes this little desert shindig so special. From the old heads who remember why we have a dialer and a floppy disk in our logo to the brandest new newbies, you are an amazing tribe of humans. Thank you for sharing your passions, making connections and looking out for each other.
Special thanks to the army of Goons who make this big machine go. A happening like this takes a lot of skilled and patient hands, and we’re eternally grateful to our top-shelf crew.
It’s gonna be another year until DEF CON 35, but take heart. There are DEF CON Groups you can join to keep the vibes going all year. If there’s not one near you, maybe it’s time to think about starting one. Consider sharing your talent with the DEF CON Franklin Project. Stay engaged. The days will fly by.
We’re already thinking of ways to top this year, and we can’t wait to see what you lovable scamps get up to in the off season.

We had a weird past connection with us, her hunt and kids here earlier. She's not weird, the couple is lovely. It's just we both went to the same school about 500 miles away.
But I'm socialed out, and drained.
So it's time for sleep. I'll try and make up the rest time tomorrow.

Hazardous Air Quality - “Everyone should stay indoors and reduce activity levels.”
The DC region has blown past the expected Code Red Air Quality warning for Friday, July 18. It was only red for about an hour before moving to the purple “Very Unhealthy” for everyone range. Now, it’s mostly in the maroon “Hazardous” for everyone range, which is the highest this scale goes up to. This is due to wildfire smoke from Canada. Good thing rain is in the forecast for tomorrow.
If you have an N95 mask, such as the 3M Aura (which fits about 80% of adults), it is a very good idea to wear it. Under these conditions, a half piece respirator is better if you have one and need to go outdoors. Most hardware stores should have them in stock if you don’t have one on hand.
Remember that smoke rises, so stay on the lowest floor while indoors if you can. The PM levels for my upstairs rooms are much higher than my lower ones. You can seal leaky windows with painters tape and plastic sheeting to create a “safe room” with HEPA air purifiers or make a CR Box (I reposted a tutorial yesterday).
