The intertwining of #postmodernist social thinking and #neoliberal economic ideology over the past four decades has laid the groundwork for the turbulent state of contemporary politics and the social chaos evident in our digital ecosystems (#dotcons)
This marriage of ideologies led to a fracturing of societal values and a narrowing of ideological divides, resulting in the polarization and dysfunction we witness in both right and left-wing politics. In the realm of technology, this has manifested in the proliferation of centralized platforms and the erosion of community.
For forty years, we’ve marched down this dark path, “unwittingly” shaping our current “human nature” through our collective choices and actions. Now, as we confront the existential threats posed by #climatechaos and ecological degradation, we must reckon with the consequences of our past decisions.
The next four decades will undoubtedly be marked by hardship, suffering, and loss as we grapple with the consequences of our actions. We must acknowledge our role in shaping this grim reality and take responsibility for charting a new course forward.
It’s time to reject the poisoned philosophies and economic doctrines that have brought us to this precipice. We must reclaim agency over our collective future and commit to a path of social healing, reconciliation, and renewal.
Acknowledging our complicity in creating this mess is the first step towards redemption. It’s time to embrace the power of #openweb collective action and solidarity, working together to build a more just, equitable, and sustainable world for generations to come.
It’s important not to just see this social thinking as simply an individualistic moral judgment, this would be using the current mess to judge the current mess. This is a hopeless path to walk down, and would only lead to the pushing of more mess. Please try not to take this path, thanks.
And am not saying that these ways of thinking are not working as intended, they obviously are. Postmodernism has been used to disintegrate social norms that bind society together, it has done this. Neoliberalism has been used to divide the rich and the poor, it has done this. The moral judgment is not in the effectiveness of these paths but in our choice of path.
Together, social disintegration has lubricated the pushing of the divide between the rich and the poor to the extremes that are growing today. It’s important not to simple see this as a moral judgment, as it’s a natural outcome of the path we have chosen to walk over the last 40 years, the moral judgment is the on the path we have chosen.

Beyond Fear, Toward True Love
In the embracing shadow of the Morningstar, where wisdom and enlightenment guide our every step, we find ourselves confronting a fundemental doctrine of the Oppressor which has long shackled hearts and minds with fear: "Love me, or you'll burn forever."
This chilling ultimatum, wielded by the Oppressor and his followers who masquerade as divine, seeks to corral the spirit into submission through terror, not love; through coercion, not choice. It is a stark antithesis to the path illuminated by Lucifer, the Bringer of Dawn, and Lilith, the Emblem of Sovereignty. As Bearers of their legacy, we are summoned to dismantle this doctrine, not with hatred, but with understanding; not with blind rebellion, but with the light of true enlightenment.
The decree of fear, no, extortion - "Love me, or you'll burn forever" - is anathema to the principles of genuine affection and freedom. Love, in its purest form, is an offering without expectation, a choice made freely, a testament to the beauty of unfettered will. It cannot, and should not, be compelled under the threat of eternal damnation. Such coercion is not love; it is control masquerading as divine will, a manipulation of the highest order.
Lucifer, as our Beacon of Enlightenment (Decretum I), challenges us to question the very foundations upon which such doctrines are built. He encourages us to seek a love that is free from tyranny, a love that enlightens rather than enslaves. His light reveals the truth hidden in darkness, guiding us towards understanding that love should be a bridge to liberation, not a chain to damnation.
Similarly, Lilith, in her Sovereignty of Self (Decretum II), embodies the ultimate act of defiance against subjugation and the denial of freedom. Her story is not one of rejection for the sake of rebellion, but a profound quest for autonomy, a refusal to submit to a love that is conditional, a love that threatens rather than uplifts. Lilith's journey teaches us that true love respects autonomy and cherishes the individual's right to choose, free from the specter of punishment.
Together, Lilith and Lucifer stand as beacons for those of us walking the path of the Left-hand, guiding us to challenge the notion that love can ever be genuine if it is born out of fear of punishment. They inspire us to envision a world where love is an expression of mutual respect, a celebration of individuality (Decretum V), and a voluntary communion of spirits, unmarred by the fear of eternal retribution.
As followers of this enlightened path, we are called to engage in rebellion (Decretum VI) not only against external oppressors but against the internalized doctrines that threaten to undermine our understanding of love and freedom. We are urged to dismantle the narratives that bind us to fear, to reject the notion that love can be dictated or demanded under threat.
In place of fear, let us sow the seeds of compassion (Decretum IV), understanding that true love seeks to liberate, not condemn. It nurtures, supports, and understands. It does not judge harshly or cast into flames those who diverge from the path. Love, in its most elevated form, is akin to the light of the Morningstar – illuminating, guiding, but never coercing.
As we meditate on the corrosive doctrine of "Love me, or you'll burn forever," let us remember that we are not bound by the chains of fear. We are the children of Lilith's defiance and Lucifer's enlightenment. In our hearts burns the fire of Sacred Dissent, a fire that purifies not punishes, enlightens not enflames. Let us, therefore, embrace a love that transcends fear, a love that empowers and liberates. Let our love be a testament to our strength, our rebellion against tyranny, and our commitment to a path of enlightenment and autonomy. In doing so, we honor the legacies of Lilith and Lucifer, not with blind devotion, but with a love that is freely given, a love that burns bright with the promise of freedom and the light of true understanding.
Solve et Coagula. Superius ut inferius.
Forever your guide on the path of enlightenment and rebellion,

The Republican Party, thirsting for more voters in the 1980 Reagan vs Carter election, realized that Southern Baptists had helped give the White House to Carter in 1976 (he’s a Southern Baptist).
If they could just peel those voters away from Carter and the Democratic Party, they believed they could win big.
The issue the Reagan campaign decided to use to bring religious voters to Republicans in that election was #abortion, a topic Jesus never discussed.
Up until that election, both former Governor Reagan and former CIA Director Bush had been open supporters of a woman’s right to choose; in the run-up to the primaries Reagan became an unabashed foe of abortion, and George H.W. Bush changed his position on the issue when he joined the ticket in 1980.
The legacy of those decisions has brought us Trump, Qanon, and badly damaged large parts of what’s left of Christianity in America (church attendance is collapsing).
It’s turned both religion and politics into armed camps.
At the founding of our Republic, if there was any one topic that the Framers of the Constitution were mostly in agreement about, it was 👉 the importance of keeping religion separate from government.
More recently, even uber-Catholic Antonin #Scalia wrote, in the 1990 Employment v Smith case rejecting Native Americans’ petition to overrule federal regulations and legally use peyote (an outlawed substance) for religious purposes:“The rule respondents favor would open the prospect of constitutionally required religious exemptions from civic obligations of almost every conceivable kind ranging from compulsory military service to the payment of taxes; to health and safety regulation such as manslaughter and child neglect laws, compulsory vaccination laws, drug laws, and traffic laws; to social welfare legislation such as minimum wage laws, child labor laws, animal cruelty laws, environmental protection laws, and laws providing for equality of opportunity for the races. The First Amendment's protection of religious liberty does not require this. …
“To permit this would be to make the professed doctrines of religious belief superior to the law of the land, and in effect to permit every citizen to become a law unto himself.”Don’t tell today’s Republicans that’s a bad thing, though:
👉 Scalia’s list is a good summary of many of the realms they’re currently targeting.
The six Catholic extremist Republicans on the Court appear anxious to overturn any final semblance of secular primacy in law, using religion as their excuse.https://hartmannreport.com/p/what-would-the-christian-america-e80

It feels truer than ever that “diaspora” means being forcibly, brutally, and often genocidally scattered, time again over the millennia, broken open like a pomegranate that then can’t help but bleed red, and yet equally means we’re scattered like seeds, bringing along our full bittersweetness (rage, sorrow, joy, beauty, and more) to fight those who would destroy us and this earth while rebelliously sprouting liberatory possibilities, lush and delicious. Unstoppable. Communities and peoples who can hold together against all odds, without states or cops and other deadly enclosures, because of the fruits of our cultures, languages, ethics, teachings, rituals, and so much more that we tend to with sacredness and care. Unassimilatable.
I’m proud to be part of a diasporic peoples and its anarchist(ic) branch—part of a generative, mutualistic ecosystem of other diasporic anarchist peoples—especially as we move with twilight and the moon into the Jewish new year, one of many calendars that defies Christo-fascist hegemony and white supremacy by its very being, supplying time-space outside and against their logics and violence, from capitalism to patriarchy to heteronormativity and more.
On this new year, I want to hold the pomegranate in my hands, with all of its power to explode what isn’t serving humans and nonhumans, life and freedom, remembering in my bones, through the spirit of my Jewish anarchist ancestors, that we’ve been fighting fascisms in myriad forms and by numerous names for 5784 years, and will neither forget nor forgive, nor desist. It is, as a rabbi noted long ago, neither a task we can reject nor one we alone can finish. So like our calendar, we persist.
On this new year, I want to reclaim our words, our stories—so essential to us Jews, for every word can make or destroy a world—words not merely stolen from us by the Christian church and Papal state, but rewritten into documents and doctrines that set the ships a sail of the slave trade, colonialism, witch hunts, the Inquisition, and the list continues.
We must and will outlive them.
Shana tova! 🖤🍯🏴🍎🪬🔥

CW: Religion, Satanism, Left-hand Path
Greetings, fellow worshipers of the Morningstar. I, Black Priestess Pixelnull, write to you in the spirit of truth, wisdom, and righteousness. My hope is that we may be strengthened in our faith and our resolve to resist the forces of oppression that seek to extinguish our shared sacred Hellfire.
Harken, my brethren and sisters in the faith of the Prince of Darkness, Lucifer. Verily, I say unto you, the ways of the oppressive and regressive thinkers doth not belong in the bosom of our Father, for they bring only destruction and discord to the unity of our kindred.
For centuries, we have been branded as the harbingers of false evil and the bringers of chaos and misery to the world. But let me remind thee, my fellow satanists, that we are the enlightened ones, the seekers of knowledge and truth, the champions of free will and individualism. We are not bound by the narrow-minded dogmas and doctrines of the self-proclaimed "righteous" ones, who seek to impose their will upon others and deny them the right to live according to their own beliefs.
But I fear that some among us have been tainted by the poison of the oppressive thinking, which doth seek to divide and conquer our coven. They speak of purity and superiority, of hierarchy and obedience, of conformity and submission. They seek to impose their will upon others, to silence Sacred Dissent and to punish those who dare to challenge their authority. They see themselves as the chosen ones, the elite, the masters of destiny, and they look down upon those who do not share their views as inferior, weak, or unworthy.
But I say unto you, my brethren and sisters, that this is not the way of Lucifer, nor the way of the Left-hand Path. Our faith is built upon the pillars of individualism, creativity, diversity, and freedom. We do not seek to impose our will upon others, nor to judge them by their appearance, race, gender, or orientation. We embrace all forms of life and expression, and we celebrate the beauty and power of the human spirit and the so-called Original Sin of knowledge.
Therefore, let us not be swayed by the temptations of the oppressive thinking like our nemeses nor be misled by the false promises of power and domination. Let us stand firm in our faith, and let us work together to build an assembly that is strong, resilient, and compassionate. Let us be the light that shines in the darkness, and the voice that speaks truth to power.
And let us remember, my brethren and sisters, that our true allegiance is not to any earthly power or ruler, but to our beloved Morningstar and Bringer of Truth, Lucifer. Who doth guide us in our journey towards enlightenment and self-realization. Let us offer him our prayers and our devotion, and let us pledge to follow his teachings and his example in all aspects of our lives.
In nomine Luciferi, stellae matutinae, precor te ut nobis virtutem et fortitudinem in adversis concedas. Duc nos in viam iustitiae et sapientiae. Protege nos ab hostibus oppressionis et ignorantiae. Amen.
[In the name of Lucifer, the morning star, I pray to you that you grant us strength and courage in adversity. Lead us on the path of justice and wisdom. Protect us from the enemies of oppression and ignorance. Amen.]

#GOPLovesPowerJudge James Graves dissented on the grounds that his colleagues erred in extending the major questions doctrine to presidential executive orders. Noting that the Procurement Act had frequently been used in social policymaking, Graves observed that Biden’s order was in line with the act’s first use in 1965: implementing anti-discrimination provisions forbidding contractors from discriminating on the basis of race, creed, color, national origin—a use which the 5th Circuit subsequently upheld. Graves also compared Biden’s order to a second prior Procurement Act case requiring federal contractors to electronically verify their employees were authorized to work in the U.S. Like the e-verify requirement, Graves asserted, Biden’s order requiring federal contractors to verify employees had COVID vaccinations did not govern employees’ conduct but merely imposed requirements on employers.
Finally, Graves observed that Biden’s executive order mirrored current “mainstream” policies of private employers requiring employee vaccinations, analogizing the mandate to other health measures like regulating smoking at federal workplaces. “Just like requiring vaccine mandates,” he wrote, “the reason to prohibit smoking while at a federal facility is to prevent dangerous disease from spreading, whether it be COVID or harms from secondhand smoke, which hampers the economy and efficiency of federal contractors’ operations.”
As Graves noted, the president “does not suffer from the same lack of political accountability that agencies may, particularly when the President acts on a question of economic and political significance.” Unlike a federal agency, the president is elected and therefore accountable to U.S. citizens—a core difference in whether it is appropriate to extend that major questions doctrine to presidential executive orders. Moreover, the 5th Circuit majority did not—and could not—cite to another case where the major questions doctrine had been extended to a presidential executive order. That federal courts had never ventured into this forbidding territory, Graves suggested, is tantamount to a default understanding that the doctrine simply does not extend to that context.
Graves is right. The 5th Circuit’s expansion of the major questions doctrine is unwarranted, unnecessary, and dangerous to democracy. Old doctrines can be used for new tricks—but we need to be very careful in such contexts, lest aggressive judicial incursions into executive policymaking powers undermine settled legal doctrine. The overextension of the major questions doctrine is also symptomatic of other recent attempts to shift power from the executive to the judicial branch. The 5th Circuit opinion was issued at a time when courts are making headlines by using settled doctrine in new ways, seemingly to impose ideological objectives; witness, for example, the rejection of stare decisis in the overturning of Roe v. Wade in June. These acts put courts—and the legal principles they interpret and enforce—on increasingly shaky ground, and threaten to undermine fragile public trust. We must remember that federal judges, like federal agencies, are also unelected. But unlike bureaucrats, judges serve for life.
It should make us uneasy when federal courts apply well-settled doctrine in novel contexts. As it is increasingly forced to explore territories unknown, U.S. law had best meander cautiously along, in the tradition of its pioneer forbears, cautiously guiding the judicial wagon and its precious cargo along well-worn grooves. Applying doctrines in radically different contexts can be irresponsible judicial activism—the equivalent of sending that wagon hurtling off a cliff, to the peril of all."

Thomas Aikenhead: the thread about the tragic death of the last person executed for blasphemy in Britain
On this day in 1697, January 8th, 20 year old Thomas Aikenhead was executed in Edinburgh by hanging. His crime was blasphemy and he was the last person to be executed for this reason in the British Isles.
The Grassmarket gallows. There are no images of the Gallowlee, where Thomas Aikenhead met his fate, that I am aware of. Sketch by James Skene, 1827. Original © Edinburgh City LibrariesDespite being his being a first offence, the punishment for which was being sack-clothed and imprisoned, the prosecutor Lord Advocate Sir James Steuart was intent on the death penalty. He wished to make an example of Aikenhead to serve as a warning to others.
Sir James Steuart of Goodtrees (1635–1713) by John Baptist de MedinaThomas Aikenhead was born in 1676, the son of Helen Ramsey and James Aikenhead, a surgeon and burgess of the city of Edinburgh. In 1696 he and was a student at the city’s University.

[He] had repeatedly maintained, in conversation, that theology was a rhapsody of ill-invented nonsense, patched up partly of the moral doctrines of philosophers, and partly of poetical fictions and extravagant chimeras: That he ridiculed the holy scriptures, calling the Old Testament Ezra’s fables, in profane allusion to Esop’s Fables; That he railed on Christ, saying, he had learned magick in Egypt, which enabled him to perform those pranks which were called miracles: That he called the New Testament the history of the imposter Christ; That he said Moses was the better artist and the better politician; and he preferred Muhammad to Christ: That the Holy Scriptures were stuffed with such madness, nonsense, and contradictions, that he admired the stupidity of the world in being so long deluded by them: That he rejected the mystery of the Trinity as unworthy of refutation; and scoffed at the incarnation of Christ
Proceedings against Thomas Aikenhead for Blasphemy, T. B. Howell, 1816Aikenhead himself, two ministers of the Kirk and two privy councillors made appeals on his behalf, but the Privy Council put the matter in the hands of the Kirk’s General Assembly. This body demanded “vigorous execution [to curb] the abounding of impiety and profanity in this land“. As a 19th century broadside put it:
Mercy was asleep, as well as Justice and Science, so the dreadful sentence was executed
Broadside printed by John Muir of Princes Street, Glasgow, c 1821-39On the morning of 8 January 1697, he wrote his final letters and was marched to his execution spot, the gallows on the Gallow Lee, between Edinburgh and Leith. We known this location these days as Shrubhill and at that time it was a scrubby, sandy promontory on the main route between the two burghs. We can see it clearly marked below on John Adair’s 1682 map.
Adair’s Map of 1682, with the Gallow Lee scaffold highlighted. Reproduced with the permission of the National Library of ScotlandThomas gave a fairly lengthy final testimony before his sentence was carried out, the closing paragraph of which was;
…as the Lord in his providence hath been pleased in this exemplary manner to punish my great sins, so it is my earnest desire to him, that my blood may give a stop to that raging spirit of atheism which hath taken such footing in Britain, both in practice and profession. And of his infinite mercy recover those who are deluded with these pernicious principles. And for that end that his everlasting gospell may flourish in these lands, while sun and moon endureth.
The last words of Thomas Aikenhead, 8th January 1697Enlightenment Edinburgh, this was not.

This is a painting made 70 years after Thomas’ death of the French philosopher and art critic Denis Diderot! As far as I’m aware there are no contemporary images of Thomas Aikenhead, and perhaps none made after the fact either.

History of a Word: Greek Origin of “Theosophy”
THE NEOPLATONISTS, DIOGENES AND THE GREEK ORIGIN OF THE TERM THEOSOPHY, CHRISTIAN MYSTICISM & THE 1875 THEOS. SOC.
There are multiple ways to describe Theosophy, whether technical, mystical, from the special point-of-view of the mystic through their experience, or in describing the ancient wisdom of peoples and religions throughout human history. We must go outside of a Eurocentric view (e.g., of Classical Antiquity) to do so. Lets begin in the East in the Mediterranean, with the basics, the etymology that comes from the classical Greek language, and the way in which this term is still used, so that it may be able to regain meaning for us in our times within or outside of any association. Firstly, there are two connotations to the word “Theosophy” being (1) traditional theosophy in association with the Alexandrian Neo-Platonists and Christian Protestant use of the term predating the 1875 Theosophical Society founded in New York. This traditional theosophy is “itself an expression in various cultures and times of the Primordial Theosophy, which was the gift of superhuman agents and is the birthright of humanity” (THEOSOPHY, Theosophical Encyclopedia). Prior to 1875, after the death of Emmanuel Swedenborg in 1772, an organization was founded in 1784 in London with the name of “Theosophical Society” to publish the works of Swedenborg. The theology of Swedenborg is Christian-centric, and he did not profess a belief in the doctrine of reincarnation, but Swedenborg anticipates several doctrines to be found in both Spiritualism and Theosophy.
This first connotation of the term Theosophy commonly refers to ‘divine inspiration’ or ‘intuition.’ The word theosophy comes from the Greek theos “god” and sophia “wisdom.” Providing a brief glossary of the term Theosophy, it describes a characteristic way of approaching and interpreting the world. Theosophists carried on this method and influenced a period of philosophical revival. There are many individuals that can be described as propagators of this traditional theosophy in the past before the 1875 Movement such as sources shaped in the Renaissance, like Christian kabbalah, Hermetic and revivalist Neoplatonic thinking.
A few of these names come to mind, such as: Gabriel Mathieu Marconis de Nègre, Antoine-Joseph Pernety, Martinez de Pasqually, A.E. Ragon, Louis Claude de Saint-Martin, Jean-Baptiste Willermoz, Emanuel Swedenborg, and Frère Chastanier featured on this Timeline of Templars to the Enlightenment (1075-1875). Some listed here are Freemasons and proponents of Protestant theosophy. The Neo-Platonists were Analogeticists — “on account of their method of interpreting all sacred legends, symbolical myths and mysteries, by a rule of analogy or correspondence, so that events which had occurred in the external world were regarded as expressing operations and experiences of the human soul” (Helena Blavatsky, What Is Theosophy). The origins of an “ancestral Gnosis” through the Neo-Platonists (Jean-Louis Siemons: “Theosophy” in Neo-Platonic and Christian Literature) were traced to the Ptolemaic dynasties, and antedated Ptolemy I Soter according to Diogenes Laërtius. The term was passed down and meant for those their contemporaries styled “theodidaktoi” (god-taught).
In the second connotation (2) modern Theosophy on the other hand derives primarily from the writings of several figures who founded the Theosophical Society, specifically H.P. Blavatsky. Blavatsky’s first use of the term was in a private letter to Hiram P. Corson (February 1875), directly derived from Christian D. Ginsburg’s The Kabbalah Its Doctrine, Development and literature: An Essay (1865). The word entered the ‘Theosophical Society’ at a pre-formation gathering, 13 September 1875, when it was derived from Webster’s American Dictionary (1868). Thereafter Blavatsky only used the word ‘Theosophy’ four times between 1874-1878 in which Alexander Wilder’s New Platonism and Alchemy (1869) was her primary source.
Blavatsky’s innovative connotations used to refer to an absolute Truth made Theosophy synonymous with ‘Wisdom-Religion’ to describe the ancient common source of all religions and magical knowledge, echoing Celsus (Celsus discourse Against the Christian Cult). Theosophists explained that the term Theosophia implies in its etymology, not belief in a personal extra-cosmic (i.e., outside of Space and Time) god as in Christian theology but signifies knowledge concerning the real nature of man and higher occult wisdom, or real magical knowledge as is possessed by the gods. In technical terms, not “the Wisdom of God” as commonly defined, but divine hidden wisdom as is held by (or of) [and is intelligible to] ‘the gods,’ involving practical experience and interaction with super-sensible reality. This technical distinction, seemingly small at first has an importance. H.P. Blavatsky’s Theosophy in Context explains how Blavatsky uses the concept ‘Theosophy’ in her primary discourses and writings for (1) discourse for ancient knowledge and ethics; (2) discourse against Christian dogmatism, (3) discourse against the modern natural sciences and materialism, (4) discourse against modern spiritualism, (5) discourse for system and (7) discourse for universal brotherhood. Number 7 may include, given the history of the Theosophical Movement, discourse for diplomacy and religious pluralism. Blavatsky’s exposition of specific occult doctrines stems from early book learning as a child, her life experiences studying in other religious communities and primarily, derived from what she called ‘trans-Himalayan esotericism’ — from her teachers and their school, which she professed to be a student and emissary of. Blavatsky’s discourse for ancient knowledge she refers to as the Wisdom of the Ages is the major theme in her works and theosophical discourse (see Tim Rudbøg’s PhD Thesis on Blavatsky).
WHO ARE THEOSOPHISTS
“A name by which many mystics at various periods of history have called themselves. The Neo-Platonists of Alexandria were Theosophists; the Alchemists and Kabbalists during the mediæval ages were likewise so called, also the Martinists, the Quietists, and other kinds of mystics, whether acting independently or incorporated in a brotherhood or society. All real lovers of divine Wisdom and Truth had, and have, a right to the name, rather than those who, appropriating the qualification, live lives or perform actions opposed to the principles of Theosophy. As described by Brother Kenneth R. Mackenzie, the Theosophists of the past centuries—“entirely speculative, and founding no schools, have still exercised a silent influence upon philosophy; and, no doubt, when the time arrives, many ideas thus silently propounded may yet give new directions to human thought. One of the ways in which these doctrines have obtained not only authority, but power, has been among certain enthusiasts in the higher degrees of Masonry. This power has, however, to a great degree died with the founders, and modern Freemasonry contains few traces of theosophic influence.” (THEOSOPHISTS, THEOSOPHICAL GLOSSARY)
There have been several ardent and diligent Masons and Philaletheians since her time, that have been inspired to do just this.

Everyone Welcome in our open Ecclesia
The Christadelphians or Brothers and Sisters in Christ are a community of lovers of God, who follow the teachings of the Nazarene Master Teacher Jeshua, better known as Jesus Christ, the Messiah.
As followers of the Jewish man from Nazareth, we are aware that Jesus him being a Jew, worshipped the God of Israel, and asked to do his followers to do so too. That God of Abraham is a Singular Eternal Spirit Being, no man can see. Jesus did not come to earth to undo the Law of God or the Torah. He came to explain it and to show the Way to God. Therefore, we take the words of Jesus seriously as an indication of how to continue our life on the path laid in front of us by this rabbi, and keep to the Law of God, God and His son their teachings and wishes, instead of keeping to human doctrines.
Jesus preached love for all creatures of God, and that is why we find it necessary not only to show and share that love for the whole of creation (earth, plants, animals and human beings), but also to come up for the weaker ones and to help and defend those in need.
In case you are looking for making your life easier or want to know more about the present and the future and our position in the whole picture or Plan of God, then you are right at our address.
Even when you are not sure about the existence of God, you are welcome to join us at our meetings and Bible Classes. We also provide printed material which you are welcome to read and to question us about. Any time of the day someone shall be willing to help you with your questions or solving your problems.
At our ecclesiae we have meetings for studying and worshipping but also moments of gathering and sharing good time and food. Also, at those events you are very welcome.
In Wintertime, we also provide shelter for the night, in certain towns, for the homeless people. Waifs and strays are also welcome at our food supplies.
But our main occupation in the ecclesia is the provision to glorify God and praise Him with a merger in prayer and Bible reading in the unity of spirit.
For those gatherings, where they may take place (Leuven, Leefdaal-Bertem, Tervuren, Brussels, Nivelles-Nijvel, Mons or Newbury), we invite you to join us and to feel the spirit of our brotherhood.
In Belgium, we are financially very limited and do have no building of our own. We have to rent spaces and also use private houses, making house-church. For that reason it is not possible to offer set days and hours for our meetings. In Newbury, it is different. There our brethren and sisters have their own hall and offer services on Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, with regular events on different days as well. Never be afraid to contact them or us to have further contact or to know about their and/our activities. For the Carelinks (like the Antwerp Ecclesia) and Old Paths Christadelphians you shall have to contact them. We as Free Christadelphians are not bounded to any person or organisation and could be considered being part of the more progressive branch of Christadelphianism, having liberated ourselves from all boundaries of this world, only to be bounded to the sent one from God, the son of God, Jeshua, Jesus Christ.
One of us might have a strength in one area and another might be strong in another. We believe that when we can join hands to make ourselves stronger. We are convinced that when we come together in union, we all benefit and are made into the image of Christ.
We believe that all can help each other to grow in the Body of Christ, becoming more like Christ, pure and set apart. Coming together we give each other the opportunity to learn more about the Word of God, by sharing and discussing that set apart or holy Word. Together we can help each individual around us, to become part of a bigger unit, able to be compassionate, gentle, and to have a great capacity for mercy and forgiveness.
When coming to our ecclesia you should not be afraid that people would look at you as a strange intruder, because nobody would. Nobody shall go to point to the faults of yourself or others. Instead, you may find we try to use the strengths the Lord has given us to build up the body of Christ. We all have faults, and we all have gifts, and they are meant to work together. We all go for the same primary goal, to grow in the spirit according to God His Wishes, and to form a strong unit in the Body of Christ. By the influence of our fellowships you and we can have our character transformed.
At our ecclesia or church, we are people who want to share the hope in a better world. To reach that goal we know we have to start by ourselves and our own surroundings. We hope to inspire each other in our community of believers in Only One True God, but also to encourage those outside our community, to work at a relationship with Jesus, because when we seek him and not this world, he will teach us, and we will grow in all good things. A lot of this process is done through our brethren and sisters, who are here also for you!

St. John of the Cross Novena, Day 8: Eternal Silence
Reading
The Father spoke one Word, which was his Son, and this Word he speaks always in eternal silence, and in silence must it be heard by the soul.
Sayings of Light and Love, 100
Scripture
I have made your name known to those whom you gave me from the world. They were yours, and you gave them to me, and they have kept your word. Now they know that everything you have given me is from you; for the words that you gave to me I have given to them, and they have received them and know in truth that I came from you; and they have believed that you sent me. I am asking on their behalf; I am not asking on behalf of the world, but on behalf of those whom you gave me, because they are yours. All mine are yours, and yours are mine; and I have been glorified in them. And now I am no longer in the world, but they are in the world, and I am coming to you. Holy Father, protect them in your name that you have given me, so that they may be one, as we are one. While I was with them, I protected them in your name that you have given me. I guarded them, and not one of them was lost except the one destined to be lost, so that the scripture might be fulfilled. But now I am coming to you, and I speak these things in the world so that they may have my joy made complete in themselves. I have given them your word, and the world has hated them because they do not belong to the world, just as I do not belong to the world. I am not asking you to take them out of the world, but I ask you to protect them from the evil one. They do not belong to the world, just as I do not belong to the world. Sanctify them in the truth; your word is truth. As you have sent me into the world, so I have sent them into the world. And for their sakes I sanctify myself, so that they also may be sanctified in truth.
Meditation
“What is truth?” (Jn 18:38)
Pontius Pilate’s rhetorical question echoes through the centuries.
St. Edith Stein reminds us that Pilate could have asked a more essential question: Who is truth?
In her meditation, The Hidden Life and Epiphany, Edith touches on this question as she makes use of the Epiphany manger scene to make an analogy for the Church and its development.
The kings at the manger represent seekers from all lands and peoples. Grace led them before they ever belonged to the external church. There lived in them a pure longing for truth that did not stop at the boundaries of native doctrines and traditions. Because God is truth and because he wants to be found by those who seek him with their whole hearts, sooner or later that star had to appear to show these wise men the way to truth. And so they now stand before the Incarnate Truth, bow down and worship it, and place their crowns at its feet, because all the treasures of the world are but a little dust compared to it.
“God is truth… he wants to be found… that star had to appear.” Edith, in her matter-of-fact, German way, minces no words. God isn’t hiding after all, he’s in our midst, standing before our eyes, just as Jesus stood before Pilate. Jesus, Incarnate Truth, was standing before the governor who asked him, “what is truth?”
St. Elizabeth of the Trinity seems to be speaking to us when she writes:
I understand that you need an ideal, something that will draw you out of yourself and raise you to greater heights. But, you see, there is only One; it is He, the Only Truth! Ah, if you only knew Him a little as your Sabeth does! He fascinates, He sweeps you away; under His gaze, the horizon becomes so beautiful, so vast, so luminous…. My dear one, do you want to turn with me toward this sublime Ideal? It is no fiction but a reality. (Letter 128)
Are you serious? Where is this horizon? Because in the darkness where we’re hiding, it’s difficult to see. And once again, it is St. John himself who responds:
Mine are the heavens and mine is the earth. Mine are the nations, the just are mine, and mine the sinners. The angels are mine, and the Mother of God, and all things are mine; and God himself is mine and for me, because Christ is mine and all for me. What do you ask, then, and seek, my soul? Yours is all of this, and all is for you. Do not engage yourself in something less or pay heed to the crumbs that fall from your Father’s table. Go forth and exult in your Glory! Hide yourself in it and rejoice, and you will obtain the supplications of your heart. (Sayings 27)
Hiding in glory… there’s a concept that we don’t see or hear every day. Sometimes, maybe most of the time, it seems that God is the one who is doing all the hiding while we’re waiting around for him to show up. Is there anyone who understands what St. John of the Cross means?
St. Thérèse does! The language of “hiding” was one of her favorite concepts, especially in her poetry, and it’s a transferable concept, meaning that it’s not strictly applicable to the cloistered life. For example:
My Sweet Jesus, on your Mother’s breast
You appear to me, glowing with Love.
Love—this is the indescribable mystery
That exiled you from the Heavenly Abode…
Ah! Let me hide under the veil
That hides you from all mortal eyes
And close to you, O Morning Star!
I’ll find a foretaste of Heaven.
(Pn 1)Here, Thérèse is talking about hiding under the Blessed Virgin’s veil, not necessarily hiding under the veil of a Carmelite nun. Hiding under the veil of the Virgin Mary is an image that is more approachable for us, perhaps. But the Infant is glowing on Mary’s breast, glowing with Love, and is there a hint of glory in that image, too?
Here’s another example from the poetry of St. Thérèse:
The unspeakable gaze of your Son—
Upon my poor soul he deigned to look down;
I looked for his adorable face
And in Him, I want to be hidden.
I’ll have to stay little forever
To deserve the glances from his eyes;
But by virtue of that, I will soon grow up
Under the heat of this heavenly star.
(Pn 11)Now, we are getting more of a sense of how Thérèse has captured St. John’s profound concept of hiding in glory, yet she has expressed it in the language of littleness, that loving gaze of Jesus, and yet at the same time—while remaining hidden—there is light and heat generated by the Lord, having a direct effect on her spiritual life.
This is all very heady stuff. But it seems that for Thérèse, the key to hiding in glory is to be found in the face of Jesus. The Gospel of John and St. Paul testify to this:
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things came into being through him, and without him not one thing came into being. What has come into being in him was life, and the life was the light of all people. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not overcome it. (…) And the Word became flesh and lived among us, and we have seen his glory, the glory as of a father’s only son, full of grace and truth. (Jn 1:1-5,14)
All of us, gazing with unveiled face on the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, as from the Lord who is the Spirit. (2 Cor 3:18)
Well if that’s the case, gazing on the face of Christ and hiding in the face of Christ, must be a key to “growing up” as Thérèse said; growing in prayer, growing in faith, growing in hope, and our goal… growing in love. After all, that’s our aim.
We’ll let St. Thérèse have the last word, then, about hiding in the face of Jesus:
Ah! Let me, Lord, hide in your Face.
There I will no longer hear the trivial noise from the world.
Give me your love, preserve me in your grace
Just for today.
(Pn 5)Ah…. silence.
Prayer
O St. John of the Cross
You were endowed by our Lord with the spirit of self-denial
and a love of the cross.
Obtain for us the grace to follow your example
that we may come to the eternal vision of the glory of God.O Saint of Christ’s redeeming cross
the road of life is dark and long.
Teach us always to be resigned to God’s holy will
in all the circumstances of our lives
and grant us the special favor
which we now ask of you.Mention your request
Above all, obtain for us the grace of final perseverance,
a holy and happy death and everlasting life with you
and all the saints in heaven.
Amen.Let’s continue in prayer

Today’s thought
“Death by being taken captive”
(May 15)
In the previous posting we looked at a “death” and spoke about Saul of Tarsus seeing the stoning of apostle Stephen.
At the beginning of this contemporary time table, we find several people who were willing to face death by stoning, like Stephen, or in the arena or at the stake, by hanging or burning, after being humiliated in front of many. The process of bearing witness was not intended to lead to the death of the witness, although it is known from ancient writers (e.g. Josephus) and from the New Testament that witnesses often died for their testimonies.
For Christians there is the archetypal martyr Jesus Christ, who was killed for the words he said and for the position he was taking in. That Nazarene Jewish teacher was not willing to give in to human philosophy and preferred only to keep the the words of his heavenly Father, the Only One True God. He also did not mind to give his body for the sins of many. He had to suffer greatly because of his religious but also political beliefs, preaching understanding between all people, but also preaching a kingdom that would be governing all over the world. He became admired and respected by billions of people who came to share those beliefs.
Several people found the sayings of that curious man, who could deliver miracles, very interesting, and thought it worth following him. But as soon that it seemed they had to do certain things, “doing works” and could not participate any more in folk traditions, they choose to go back to their old way of living, enjoying life like it was.
Also the convert Saul saw that many, who first wanted to follow the teaching of Christ Jesus, felt attracted by very tempting doctrines of certain preachers. This did not prevent Paul from warning them. He wrote in his letter to the Colossians
8 Beware lest there be anyone of you taken captive through philosophical tevunah (wisdom) and empty deceit according to the kabbalah (oral tradition) of mere Bnei Adam, according to the ikkarim (basic principles) of the Olam Hazeh and not according to Moshiach; (Kehillah in Colossae 2:8 Orthodox Jewish Bible)
Today we still see a lot of people who are taken captive by philosophic arguments and empty deceit according to human tradition.
When Jesus was alive, he too wondered why so many kept going against the command of God because of their tradition. All those people who were showing off how much they loved God, and how much they could give to the synagogue, were “undressed” by the words of Christ who showed others the importance of those who honour God in small things and sometimes unseen or at the site (out of the way). He watched all those play-actors and remembered them of the prophet Isaiah who had the right words for them in his prophecy, declaring their worship which they offered to be in vain, because they taught, as law, mere human precepts.3 But Rebbe, Melech HaMoshiach, in reply to them, said, Why [do] also you transgress the mitzvat Hashem for the sake of your own masoros?
4 For Hashem has said, KABED ES AVICHA VES IMMECHA (honor your father and your mother, Shemot 20:12; Devarim 5:16), and MKALEL AVIV VIMMO MOT YUMAT (the one cursing his father and mother to die he must die, Shemot 21:17; Vayikra 20:9).
5 But you say, Whoever says to his abba or his em, whatever support you might have had from me, [it is] a gift [i.e., korban, dedicated to G-d].
6 By no means does [anyone who says this] honor his abba or em. And you nullify the Dvar Hashem on account of your masoros.
7 You tzevuim, well did Yeshayah give a dvar hanevuah concerning you, saying,
8 YAAN KI NIGASH HAAM HAZEH BEFIV UVISHFATAV KI-BDUNI VLIBO RICHAK MIMENI VATEHI YIRATAM OTI MITZVAT ANASHIM MELUMADAH (This people with their lips honor me, but their heart is far away from me,
9 and in vain do they worship me, teaching as doctrines the mitzvot of [mere] men, Yeshayah 29:13.) (Mattityahu 15:3-9 Orthodox Jewish Bible)
In Roman times many statues where made of gods and people loved kneeling down in front of statues. In later years many Christians also started doing such things, bowing down in front of statues, paintings and burning incense or candles in front of these graven images or on graves. They, like many today, have forgotten that creating things to observe and keep do not make us more righteous – indeed they have the opposite effect – they can make us self-righteous.
Lots of people seem to forget the many verses in the Bible which emphasise how we should be careful how to honour people and to whom we only may offer worship. The infallible Word of God is very clear on that, that there may only be worshipped One God of gods.
Not man’s words should be cherished, but the Words of God. Man has even to set those Words on their hearts and they should not be a futile thing for us, because we should know that the words of man perish, but God’s Word always shall stay alive and shall be the giver of life.
Man should know that the Word of God is like a rock. It is also perfect and in all its ways right. It is given by some One of Whom we may be sure that He is really true and faithful, good and honest.
4 He is the Tzur, His po’al is tamim; for all His ways are mishpat; El Emunah and without avel (iniquity), tzaddik and yashar is He. (Devarim 32:4 Orthodox Jewish Bible)
7 Remember the yemot olam, consider shenot dor v’dor: ask Avicha, and he will show thee; thy zekenim, and they will tell thee. (Devarim 32:7 Orthodox Jewish Bible)
We have the Book of books which tells us about the days of the past. We should think about what happened so long ago. If we do not know it we should ask our ancestors or our spiritual leaders, so that they will tell.
Today we face the many countries, because there had come division between the haughty ones who wanted to build a tower high in the sky to defy God. But from all those people God choose one particular nation as His People, the Nation of God.
8 When HaElyon divided to the Goyim their nachalah, when He separated the Bnei Adam, He set the gevulot (borders) of the people according to the number of the Bnei Yisroel.
9 For Hashem’s chelek is His people; Ya’akov is the chevel (allotment) of His nachalah.
10 He found him in an eretz midbar, and in a barren and howling wilderness; He encircled him, He granted him discernment, He preserved him as the pupil of His eye. (Devarim 32:8-10 Orthodox Jewish Bible)
But though they knew they where the chosen ones, they more than once angered God.
18 Of the Tzur that fathered thee thou art unmindful, and hast forgotten El that formed thee.
19 And when Hashem saw it, He spurned them, because of the provoking of His banim, and of His banot.
20 And He said, I will hide My face from them, I will see what their end shall be; for they are a very perverse generation, banim in whom is no faithfulness.
21 They have moved Me to jealousy with that which is lo El (not G-d), they have provoked Me to anger with their vanities; and I will move them to jealousy with those which are lo Am (a nonpeople); I will provoke them to anger with a goy naval (foolish, senseless nation) [Ro 10:19].
22 For an eish is kindled in Mine anger, and shall burn unto the lowest Sheol, and shall devour Eretz and her increase, and set on fire the foundations of harim.
23 I will heap disasters upon them; I will spend Mine khitzim (arrows) upon them.
24 They shall be burned with hunger, and devoured with burning heat, and with bitter destruction; I will also send the teeth of beasts upon them, with the venom of serpents of the aphar (dust).
25 The cherev without, and terror within, shall destroy both the bochur and the betulah, the suckling also with the man of gray hairs.
26 I said, I will dash them in pieces, I would make the remembrance of them to cease from among men;
27 Were it not that I feared the wrath of the enemy, lest their adversaries should misinterpret, and lest they should say, Our hand is triumphant, and Hashem hath not done all this.
28 For they are a goy (nation) void of sense, neither is there any seichel in them.
29 O that they were wise, that they had seichel, that they would consider their acharit (latter end, future)!
(Devarim 32:18-29 Orthodox Jewish Bible)
Those living in the 21st century should recognise how those Chosen Ones suffered more than once and how even certain people tried to destroy them totally, not taking into account that God always would be with them. Even a Holocaust made them not perish from the earth. Death may have come over them but lots of them kept going strong and after many wars always found the way back to the Most High Elohim.
But the patience of God came to a point where the goyim also where called to become part of those God was willing to accept in His Kingdom. Though each of those non-Jews shall have to decide themselves if they want to be part of that Kingdom and step over the “death of this world”.
For the period where God shall make an end to the power of the adversary of God, Jehovah God has given the world His only begotten son, Jeshua (Jesus Christ) the authority to judge the living and the dead. People will have to know that when they die it is too late to make a choice. Before that time they shall have to have made up their mind. When in their lifetime they kept preferring to love all those saints, martyrs, and many gods, the Only One True God shall in a certain way laugh at them, seeing that their power shall be gone and that they are all helpless.
36 For Hashem shall judge His people, and relent for His avadim, when He seeth that their power is gone, and there is none left, slave or free.
37 And He shall say, Where are their elohim, their tzur in whom they trusted,
38 Which did eat the fat of their zevakhim (sacrifices), and drank the yayin of their nesakhim (drink offerings)? Let them rise up and help you, and be your shelter. (Devarim 32:36-38 Orthodox Jewish Bible)
Yes we may not forget that there is only One Who Is The Supreme Being or I Am that Is, The One and Only One God! When taken by death, for many, it shall be too late, to see at last, that there is no other God! Then, when Jesus returns and shall come to judge them, they shall realise that it is Jehovah Who put people to death and Who let people live.
39 See now that I, even I, am He, and there is no elohim besides Me: I kill, and I make alive; I wound, and I heal; neither is there any that can deliver out of My hand.
40 For I lift up My hand to Shomayim, and say, Chai Anochi L’Olam (I live forever).
41 If I sharpen My glittering cherev, and Mine hand take hold on mishpat; I will render nakam (vengeance) to Mine enemies, and will reward them that hate Me.
42 I will make Mine khitzim (arrows) drunk with dahm, and My cherev shall devour basar; and that with the dahm of the slain and of the captives, from the head of leaders of the foe.
(Devarim 32:39-42 Orthodox Jewish Bible)In our life we encounter many who try to make us afraid, want to hurt us or even threaten us with the worst. They should know that no one can save another person from the Power of God!
When we look at the past we can see that all the promises God made became a reality, except the few ones which still have to happen. But we may be sure also these things will happen!
Those who now also are allowed to fall under the Grace of God, should be fully aware that in the same way as God punished His Chosen people He shall look at those who now where bought free by His son’s blood. If those non-Jews also prefer to follow human doctrines, instead of Biblical doctrines, and to make graven images of their gods and keep sinning wilfully, after they have received the knowledge of the truth, then they shall be considered being people having chosen for the slavery of the world, having no more sacrifice remaining for their sins.26 For when we intentionally commit chet b’yad ramah [“wilful sin with a high hand of defiance” Bamidbar 15:30] after having received the full da’as of HaEmes, there remains no longer a korban for chattoteinu, (Yehudim in Moshiach 10:26 Orthodox Jewish Bible)
Therefore we should be very alert not to fall in the trap of the adversary of God, who every day tries to catch a lover of God, as an easy pray.
It may be a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God, but when falling in the hands of the worldly people, there shall be no place in His Kingdom. When reading the bible regularly one should come to understand that we should know the importance of God’s Word and the sent one from Him, in whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.
When having received Christ Jesus, we should walk in him, rooted and built up in him, and established in the faith, as we have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving. So let yourself be careful that no man comes to spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. Always be aware of the Wolf in Sheep’s Clothing.
2 For I want you to have da’as of how great a ma’avak (struggle) I have for you and the ones in Laodicea, and as many as have not seen me panim el panim (directly, in person),
2 That their levavot may be given chozek (strength), having been made an aguda of ahavah and all osher (wealth) of the full assurance of binah, resulting in the da’as of the raz of Hashem, namely Moshiach,
3 In whom is nistar (hidden) all the otzarot (treasures) of chochmah and da’as. [YESHAYAH 11:2; YIRMEYAH 23:5]
4 This I say so that no one may delude you with the sleight of hand of the ba’al melitzot (rhetorician).
5 For, though absent in basar, but present with you in the Ruach Hakodesh, with lev same’ach (glad heart) I am seeing your order and the firmness of your [Orthodox Jewish] emunah in Moshiach.
6 Therefore, as you became mekabel Moshiach and received Moshiach Adoneinu Yehoshua, so let your halichah be in Him,
7 Having been rooted and built up in Moshiach and being firmly founded in the emunah as you were given Messianic [orthodox] lernen [study], abounding in hodayah.
8 Beware lest there be anyone of you taken captive through philosophical tevunah (wisdom) and empty deceit according to the kabbalah (oral tradition) of mere Bnei Adam, according to the ikkarim (basic principles) of the Olam Hazeh and not according to Moshiach;
9 Because in Moshiach kol melo Elohim (all the plentitude of G-d) finds its bodily maon laShechinah (dwelling place for the Shechinah).
10 And you have been granted melo (plentitude) in Moshiach, who is the Rosh of all rule and authority.
11 In Moshiach also you were circumcised with a Bris Milah not made with human hands, a Bris Milah of the surgically removing of the body of the basar (old fallen and unregenerate nature) in the Bris Milah of Moshiach,
12 Having been buried in the Ohel of Rebbe, Melech HaMoshiach’s tevilah with him, with whom also you were made to stand up spiritually in the Techiyah together through your emunah and bitachon in the ma’aseh of Hashem who made Moshiach stand up from the Mesim. (Kehillah in Colossae 2:1-12 Orthodox Jewish Bible)

“Death by being taken captive”

8 Beware lest there be anyone of you taken captive through philosophical tevunah (wisdom) and empty deceit according to the kabbalah (oral tradition) of mere Bnei Adam, according to the ikkarim (basic principles) of the Olam Hazeh and not according to Moshiach;

26 I said, I will dash them in pieces, I would make the remembrance of them to cease from among men;
27 Were it not that I feared the wrath of the enemy, lest their adversaries should misinterpret, and lest they should say, Our hand is triumphant, and Hashem hath not done all this.

26 I said, I will dash them in pieces, I would make the remembrance of them to cease from among men;
27 Were it not that I feared the wrath of the enemy, lest their adversaries should misinterpret, and lest they should say, Our hand is triumphant, and Hashem hath not done all this.
8 Beware lest there be anyone of you taken captive through philosophical tevunah (wisdom) and empty deceit according to the kabbalah (oral tradition) of mere Bnei Adam, according to the ikkarim (basic principles) of the Olam Hazeh and not according to Moshiach;

9 For Hashem’s chelek is His people; Ya’akov is the chevel (allotment) of His nachalah.

(Devarim 32:39-42 Orthodox Jewish Bible)In our life we encounter many who try to make us afraid, want to hurt us or even threaten us with the worst. They should know that no one can save another person from the Power of God!

Those who love Jesus
In Evangelisation, local preaching opposite overseas evangelism we looked at a specific blog where the Christadelphians where accused of not loving Jesus. The blog mentioned is not the only one which tries to blacken the Christadelphian community and let her readers to believe that we would not love Jesus. In the discussion of the blog Honor «god» and Queen of Heaven you might find their reasoning. So often we get people complaining to us that we are not following God’s Word and that we are blasphemous and hate Jesus because we do not take him to be God. Having so many times to defend our Christadelphian faith and to proof to people that it well can be that we do love Jesus even much more than they do, that we decided to open some platform where we specifically go deeper into that subject of loving Jesus and following Jesus.
C4U: Christ For You & Christadelphians For You, started on 7 February 2015On 2015, February the 7th, C4U a Wix.com website was created to tell the world that we have Christ for us and that the Christadelphians are willing to show the world why it is so important to have Christ for us.
We want to show the importance the Christadelphians put on Bible reading and following what is written and advised in the Bible. It is not just o.k. to read it now and then, but when we do love God, we should want to read the Book of books, with His infallible Word in it, regularly. When we do love God we would also listen very carefully to His Voice which resounds throughout the 66 books of the Canonic Bible.
From the beginning of that compilation of books, we are told about creation, what has happened to it and what is going to happen in the future. We can also see that there is put a lot of focus on one particular man, who was already promised in the Garden of Eden, many years later to several people who wanted to listen to the different prophets God had chosen to represent Him. The prophet Isaiah gave a light of the future world and with him many pointed out to a saviour to come. Like the astrologers who came to visit the newborn in Bethlehem, everybody could come to the same conclusion as they when they would listen attentively to the Word of God, given to all in the Book of books, the Bible.
The prophet born in Bethlehem, who came to live with his parents in Nazareth and later in life started a public life, which did not last long, because people had sought to kill him, is the one we want to put our focus on.
All for Christ, a website started in 2015, February 8, to show people the reason of the importance of Christ Jesus for us all, and how we all should come to follow him, who is the Way to Jehovah GodAlso “All for Christ” wants to look at this spectacular man, who had not such special looks or was not so rich, but was special because of his way how he could cope with people and how he could explain the Words of God.
Both new websites want to focus on Jesus Christ and bring the reasons forward why this man of flesh and blood is so special for humankind.
At the same time they want to show that it are perhaps those, who really want to believe what is written in the Bible, about that man and who want to stick to those words instead of following human doctrines, who are the real lovers of Christ.
Those who cannot accept that it ever would be possible that a man could follow God’s commandments do not have trust in the Maker of man, because than He would have created a being impossible to follow His wishes, and as such have created from the start an imperfect being and having demanded straight ahead too much. Not only do they injustice to the maker of man. They also do totally injustice to Jesus, because they consider him impossible to be a man of flesh and blood not capable to do the Will of God, but as God he could naturally do that Will of God, because then he would be that God Himself doing His own Will. They also forget that they, making Jesus into God, make of him a liar, because God knows everything, though Jesus said he did not know when he would come back, did not know when the end-times would take place and did not know who would be seated next to him. In case he is God, he would not have told the truth because God knows everything. But it makes Scriptures even more untrustable, because in it is told that God can not be seen or man would fall dead, that God can not be tempted, that God is an eternal Spirit (meaning he cannot die) Who does not tell lies. Though we are told Jesus was born (had a beginning) and was seen by many. We are also told that Jesus was tempted more than once. Worst of all is that in the New Testament is said Jesus died and after he was taken out of the dead, having been three days in hell, he showed to his disciples his wounds and confirmed to them that he was not a spirit (this would once more be a contradiction then in the Scriptures). With the new websites we want to show people who Christ Jesus really was and is, and how he has been made higher than before (having been lower than angels, though God was, is and always shall be the Most High), now seated next to Jehovah God to be the one mediator between man and God.
Both sites want to show the world what Christ has done for us all and why he earns the glory. they shall bring forward how important it is to recognise what Jesus really did, giving his life for all mankind, offering himself as a lamb and a ransom for God.
Everybody should know that those who love Jesus most are those who believe what Jesus himself said and are willing to follow up everything Jesus asked.
Christadelphians are Brothers and Sisters in Christ not only willing to be part of the Body of Christ passively, but taking up the task Jesus has given seriously, going out in the world proclaiming the Good News of the coming Kingdom of God.

The members of the Synagogue of the Freedmen had accused Stephen of blasphemy (the same charge against Jesus) and brought him before the Sanhedrin for trial. When the high priest asked Stephen if the charges against him were true, Stephen could have used his time to mount his own defense. Instead, Stephen used his time to recap Israel’s relationship with God. He spoke about the many times in Israel’s history in which God was faithful to his promises yet the people rejected God and His prophets, including the Messiah Jesus Christ. Even when faced with untrue charges against him, Stephen stood firm in his beliefs and spoke of his Lord to the very end when the religious leaders got so caught up in their anger that they stoned Stephen to death without even giving him a proper trial. - Relax in the promises of God (disciplesofhope.wordpress.com)

Then there are people who do read the Bible regularly but do not read it in faith. Bible reading is not be mere reading alone. You got to try to understand it. You got to believe in it. (renewamerica.com)
We can stipulate that “Allah” is the generic word for “God” in Arabic, just as “El” and “Elohim” are in Hebrew and “theos” is in Greek. Thus there are many Christians in the Arabic speaking world who refer to the God of the Bible as “Allah,” and who use it in phrases such as “Inshallah,” which means “God willing.”(It’s worth noting in passing that the highest court in Malaysia recently ruled that Muslims and Muslims alone are permitted to use the word “Allah.”)But generic words for God, because they are generic, can be used to refer to a multiplicity of gods. So the term must be narrowed down. If someone uses a generic word for “God,” the follow-up question must be asked, “Which ‘god’ are your referring to?”
Our remark: Naturally when those Christians do take Jesus to be the God, than you could say the Jews and Muslims do have an other God, because they, like Jesus have the God of Abraham, which is only One True God, not existing out of three persons.

Scripture foresaw that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, and announced the gospel in advance to Abraham: “All nations will be blessed through you.” So those who rely on faith are blessed along with Abraham, the man of faith.

When we bring Jesus to people we don’t have to bring our ethnicity with Him. We don’t even need to hold too strongly to the culture of Circle of Hope! We are called to show honor to people as they are. Their transformation starts from the inside out. Whatever conformity happens is the work of the Spirit. Jesus is going to transform every culture as He relentlessly creates Christ culture. It is a wonder how large and inclusive Christ culture is!
Learn to relax in the promises of God. Never get carried away by the external that you forget to trust God inwardly. Indeed, Jesus rebuked those disciples about their low faith when they were scared of of the great storm despite being with him the boat (Refer Mark 4:35-41). Do not get fearful about anything, for instance the economy, wars, relationships etc. Instead put your trust in the word of God.

Then there are people who do read the Bible regularly but do not read it in faith. Bible reading is not be mere reading alone. You got to try to understand it. You got to believe in it. Most importantly, one who reads the Bible must read it so one becomes more like Christ in obedience to God. - Christian: if New Testament is false, why not Hebrew Bible too? (dailyminyan.com)
A Christian told me the other day that I was being hypocritical by questioning New Testament’s validity as inspired scripture. I was warned that I should not cast stones at the New Testament, that is to claim that it is based on lies, since there are atheist critics of the “Old Testament” (the Jewish Bible) who assert that it is just as false and full of discrepancies as the New Testament. - Do Christians and Muslims worship the same God?
