Was freedom built on ancient delusion?
It persists as the architect’s cold conclusion.The most degrading and painful descent
is the one to the lower “kingdom” crescent,
Shadow throne invoked by seditious implication.
Collusion not coercion, mummified by mediation.Trust not the expedient offer, the beatific start —
