Is there an HTML pattern (#microformat, schema.org, well-known-uri, etc) for listing the people and projects on the web that you financially support? Maybe it just needs to be there for people to read. But it could be interesting to discover them as you browse?

I feel a little better about the state of the tech world. Also yessssss Neopets reference. I let mine starve and I _still_ feel bad about that decades later.

Looks like #CryptoCom's Canadian bank accounts have been possibly frozen or seized. This comes on the heels of their € bank accounts being frozen on January 20th.

It also seems like #CryptoCom sent around $1 billion of its customers' crypto... somewhere. And then got it back again a day later, which is eerily similar to that time in October when they sent $400 million to #GateIO "by mistake" within 48 hours of the time GateIO pretended to get an audit.

I made a long thread on The Privatized Public Square: twitter.com/Cryptadamist/statu

ps reminder that #CryptoCom, #Tether, & #Binance are basically the same company...

  7. Some extracts from my pinned toot concerning the ways in which #Uniswap is a particularly diabolical means of capital extraction devised by #TheNerdReich bros of #a16z, #SequoiaCapital, and the rest (and their obscenely well paid and equally obscenely dishonest lawyers) and how the capital being extracted is currently being funneled into the 2024 election.

(The specifics of the electoral corruption are better documented by @molly0xfff; this is more an in depth explainer of the mechanics of one of The Nerd Reich's more effective grifts.)

Bloomberg just published an article about #TransactiveSystemsUAB, AKA "#Nexo and #CryptoCom's European banking partner." The thing I published an article about last week (see my profile). Turns out it was founded by convicted money launderers who hired other convicted money launderers to run it. Coupled with the fact that #BankOfLithuania accused the company of massive money laundering it makes you wonder if perhaps people launder money there.

They were #Nexo's bank. And they are also #CryptoCom's bank. This is where #CryptoCom customers' euros were being sent (and are probably stuck right now, if they weren't already stolen).

  10. 🚨📜🚨 #TheCryptocalpyseChronicles presents:

Are Crypto.com and Binance's European Assets Frozen In Banking Space-Time?

Are customers ever going to see that money again or is all that money about to be ejected from the airlock of the Starship International Banking System into the frozen silence of the interplanetary void?

A timeline of recent disastrous events in the history of the money that belongs to customers of #Binance and #Cryptocom but that is probably already seized by the government and/or stolen by #Putin to aid Russian money laundering.

    Retoot for great justice!

  11. Another channel where I'd love to see you appear, if you can, is Louis Rossmann's. Louis is a very active advocate for #RightToRepair and #RightToOwn, a likewise active opponent of #surveillanceCapitalism and #enshittification, and a strangely effective herder of tech-culture cats. He founded the Consumer Rights Wiki [1], and lobbies and organizes political campaigns which get gamers and PC builders out to city halls and state legislatures. His YouTube channel has 2.47 million subscribers, similarly active to the GamersNexus viewers, and the Consumer Right's Wiki editors may soon give the venerable @molly0xfff a run for her (figurative) Wikipedian money.

He's also covered the Bloomberg #DMCA abuse against GN [2], and volunteers to fund legal battles against such corporate #censorship. There's likely a large part of the combined audiences of GamersNexus and of Rossmann's channel which do not overlap demographically (or, for a significant portion, politically) with typical audiences of the venues where I've seen or heard of you (@pluralistic) presenting the book so far, yet those audiences are certain to be amenable to your message, so talking with those audiences could help both the sales and the mission of the book.
