I 100% use em dashes in my writing, and have done so for three decades and counting.

I'm not going to stop, either. Leaving out em dashes because of AI would feel like a damn concession, and I am NOT giving ground in this war of fascist Nerd Reich GenAI against plain unadulterated human creativity.

"The Nerd Reich - Silicon Valley Fascism and the War on Democracy" by Gil Durán (2026)

Dense reading in parts, but it needs to be and it's not a long book. Eye-opening! One takeaway: beware JD Vance.
