My first impressions of the #Ploopy Adept #trackball are very good.
https://ploopy.co/adept-trackball/
I was able to tune it with a nice balance of speed and accuracy for pointing.
For the six buttons, I besides the left/middle/right mouse buttons, I bound one to "hold to scroll" the trackball.
The other two I bound to copy/paste for single click and browser forward/back for double-click.
I published my QMK customizations here:

I love my #Keychron K6 retro style mechanical #keyboard and my #Kensington Expert Mouse (which is a #trackball). In fact I love it so much I've got two of each and have a set for the home office and a set when I'm at clients.
Given these shorter contracts lately, I'm looking for something a little less bulky to drag around, so I'm testing out the #logitech MX Keys Mini chiclet keyboard and the Kensington #Orbit wireless trackball.
Opinions later! 😀

If you're a fan of of trackpoint-style input devices like the nubs used on IBM/Lenovo Thinkpads, the folks at @ploopy may have a gadget for you: meet the Bean!
I have their Classic Trackball and am very happy with it.

UHK 60 + trackball = your secret travel weapon. ✈️
Tiny enough to fit in any backpack, powerful enough to let you crush work anywhere. Airplane tray tables? Tiny coffee shop desks? Bring them on—it's unstoppable.
Productivity on the go has never looked this sleek. 😎

My current temporary desktop setup: #HappyHackingKeyboard Professional 2 (electrostatic capacitive #Topre switches) with #Domikey #Orange #Dolch #doubleshot #keycaps
Edit: Just noticed on https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Happy_Hacking_Keyboard that the #HHKB Pro 2 is now 20 years old — released in March 2006 — and the HHKB in general nearly 30 years, released in December 1996.

Seems like I might have to replace the micro mouse switch on my Kensington Orbit K75327 trackball... The left click is registering double clicks. Hope I still remember my soldering skills! Will try to get some replacement 7.3mm silent Kailh switches.
