About 2 years ago, I created Static.Quest as a #webring for static websites and a place to show off your static content. Sites could be built with any static site generator or by hand, and allowed you to join a unique circle of other static sites.
This weekend, I updated some core functions of the web ring process to eliminate the need for JavaScript on the client browser side, and brought this into the #11ty build process.

I’m really excited because a mutual friend said they’re willing to give me their retired 2018 Mac Mini (which was originally used for music production). What’s extremely exciting is the fact it’s a maxed out model with 64GB DDR4 RAM (I’ve never owned a computer with over 16GB of RAM!) with 2TB SSD. Feeling extremely grateful for his generosity. 🥰

Sad Clarity
Sorrow has this unique potential to inflict upon you a sense of sudden clarity. The usual triggers are alcohol or a sad song you like.
Not clarity about a particular thing or idea.
Just clarity, as in, a clear mind to think.
Your mind can take you anywhere from here.
I usually waste it away brooding.
