  6. Last month I found a portable TV and wanted to get streaming channels working on it. If you’re new to doing something like this, I describe the simple process here: vikaskumar.org/2025/11/29/supe

    Ideally would love to do more than this and try to get some other demos working on the TV. I was able to get an Atari working on it to play games but playing games is not my thing. What else can be done with a black and white CRT TV ?

  7. Decided to use the and resurrect my Kindle 2.0 and discovered the lithium battery is permanently dead. Used to open and take it out and have ordered a replacement from a random Amazon seller. Hopefully it will arrive in a few days 😐

  8. Just finished Tracy Kidder’s The Soul of a New Machine, a , about the creation of one of Data General’s machines in the 1970s. If you love language, learning about low level stuff like , and how engineers designed full computers in those days, etc this book is for you.
