Super fun that I still have to open up Outlook classic if I want to open a PST file.

Pro tip:
In case you have any cuts on your hand that you might have forgotten about, just squeeze a lime into the drink you're making.
You'll remember.

Test number three, trying to get the text clearer on this vodka bottle. It's getting better with each one.

I think I might write a plugin for Kmail, which changes the "unsubscribe" link in any mass email message to instead say "Fuck Off".
I'll call it "Fuck Off", because I'm not terribly imaginative with titles.

On a lighter note, I don't know anywhere else one might work that gets complaints about a lack of unicorn poop.

The gelatinous cube escape from Honor Among Thieves. A great example of the ingenuity players can surprise the DM with.

@[email protected] Also, I learned that a "Royal mojito" is just a regular mojito that thinks it's better than everybody else.

I think those of us in the Linux world are better positioned to weather this, at least for a short while, since Linux will run just fine on older hardware.
Windows11 forcing everyone to purchase new hardware however, is a problem. We are going to try to put together a Linux PC that will be the image for our public PCs, so that we can continue to use older hardware there, and replace staff PCs. There are some hurdles.

We went and saw "The Bride" last night. It was fantastic. We're still talking about all the symbolism and commentary going on in this movie. Highly, highly recommend.
If you're on the fence about it, just read all the conservative media vilifying the movie, and that alone should be reason enough to go check it out.

There is this magical time when everyone is at their most productive. When things get done, and responsibilities are met. It's when the dishes get done. It's when dead batteries get put in the charger, and when support tickets get created.
This time is fondly referred to as "later".
We all know it. Teenagers spend most of their time there. My users swear by it.
I am a later-denier. For me, it's right up there with "coincidence", or Bigfoot.

Currently trying to convert VHD files to Qcow2, because I'm trying to move off of Hyper-V and VirtualBox, and over to KVM.
Using the built-in qemu conversion tool produced a file that wouldn't boot. So I'm trying the Starwind converter now. If that fails, I'll just have to do it the old-fashioned way, and make a new VM to recreate things on. Bleh.

I finally got around to seeing "Good Boy" a few nights ago. Highly recommend. It's a horror movie shot from the dog's perspective, and only the dog is able to see what's haunting the place.
It's an indie film, and low-budget, but absolutely worth the watch, especially if you're a dog lover.

I just dropped in to see what condition my condition was in.

FYI, Today is Kronk's birthday.

I think it's going to be this kind of evening.

Streaming more Left4Dead 2 in about 15 minutes. I think I'm going to try and slowly work my way through every L4D 1 and 2 campaign over the next couple of weeks. So tonight I'm going to attempt "No Mercy" again, and see if I can manage to not get thrown off a building by a hulking, mutated zombie.

Yeah, so... in this particular record, the F means "fiction" and "You" is an abbreviation of the author's last name. This is how it's tagged on the shelf. Thanks for the entertainment, though.

Monday and I have struck an uneasy truce over the last year. I don't dread it as much as I used to. Maybe that just means I've given on to the dark side.

It's National Dice Day, here in the US.

I decided it was time to lighten up the tone of the default OSticket overdue ticket/task reminders.

Now, when I was in the army, we never spontaneously broke into song and dance in the streets.
I'm not sure if I feel a little left out, or not.
