Well. Thanks to some feedback I got this weekend, I have discovered that some of my older videos on PeerTube are broken. I don't know if those just broke when I upgraded to v8, or if they've been like that for a long time. I suspect it's the latter.
Probably due to issues with failed migration away from object storage. This will take some tedious tinkering to fix. In the end, I suspect it will be easier to just re-upload new copies of the videos in question (I should have offline copies of them all, though it may take some digging to find which ones I need).
If you find playback failures on https://tv.filmfreedom.net this is probably what's going on. Sorry!

Whole reason I can post now is because I’m on 5G on my phone.
Unfortunately going to need WiFi level speed to make live posting work for games like this so won’t be able to do live posting on cellular network without draining high speed data usage.

All of our cable internet and tv is out. Like the neighborhood.

Anyone else on easymode.im or iceshrimp.social having an extremely difficult time viewing user profiles (your own or others) and getting errors when using the search function?
On easymode, all I get are blank pages under the "overview" section.

After police detained Central Asian migrants working for the contractor employed by the Makhachkala municipal authority, the street cleaning and garbage disposal problems the capital of Dagestan had already been suffering got worse, according to RIA Novosti on Tuesday, April 2.
The city administration posted on its website: “Over the past few days, there has been a deterioration in the sanitary condition of the city; for technical reasons, the regional operator (for the management of municipal solid waste) MBU Makhachkala-1 has encountered difficulties in cleaning the waste and container sites and in removal of solid waste.”

On Monday, men who normally work in the administration of the Makhachkala municipal offices took part in street cleaning and removing garbage in parts of the city.
This wasn’t enough for many residents who took to social media to complain of the presence of “mountains of garbage” around collection points saying: “the smell is everywhere, it goes up into our rooms.”
An unnamed source from the local authority told RIA Novosti that the problems arose because of the detention “pending the identification of” migrants working in the institution.
