OK, Critics seem to build a case of its mediocrity - but who are they anyways: Prime Target [Apple TV+] is quite an interesting series that boils up the well known "primes [so far as we know randomly occuring] as key to all digital security worldwide, endangered by spies + national entities" theme and couples it with mathematicians/archeologists and other mighty stakeholders. #LeoWoodall just excels as hyperfixated genius, LOVE this actor!

With a premise quite similar to Darren Aronofsky’s directorial debut “Pi” (or “𝛑”), #PrimeTarget is far more digestible and has clearer world-altering stakes at play. Aronofsky’s film was ahead of the viewers’ comprehension of digital matters cryptographic; now we know what might happen owing to things which have already happened.
*Now* I want to re-watch the 1998 film!

#PrimeTarget contains so many Oxbridge clichés in the first 10 minutes that I almost gave up watching. But if you can get past that it also contains a lot of maths and nerd clichés. Oh and the Danish PM from Borgen, which was what kept me interested. 🤷♂️ #AppleTVPlus

It looked somewhat intriguing, so I started watching Prime Target over the weekend… but 1.5 episodes in, the whole premise is absolutely ludicrous. I don’t think I’m gonna stick with it. A rare miss from Apple TV+.

Watched the first 3 episodes of Prime Target on AppleTV+. It’s definitely pretty interesting.
The first episode started a little slow but near the end of it things got better.
