  1. Ok, you guys wore me down. I just don't love Keri Russell, but all the noise about The Diplomat made me give it a try. Totally hooked after maybe 15 minutes. I blame you all, secretly mad about it.

  2. We finished watching Season 3 of The Diplomat. We enjoyed Season 1, can't remember much about Season 2, and are glad Season 3 is over. The series, from Netflix, is about an American 'power' couple of the US Ambassador to Great Britain, played by Keri Russell of The Americans fame, and her husband, Hal Wyler as US Vice-President, played by Rufus Sewell, who manage to solve the world's geopolitical issues in no time at all. The plot requires you suspend belief for long periods, which given the current state of the world, takes some doing. However the increasing focus on the couple's martial relationship drags this season firmly into soap opera territory. The final episode screamed 'Season 4' is coming, presumably so everyone involved, including the 6 or so 'Executive Producers', can keep their pay checks coming. Two stars and half stars - mostly for the authentic locations used, including the actual US Embassy in London.

  3. Started watching #TheDiplomat on Netflix. Got halfway through the first episode. Newp.

“This is about fundamentally fundamentalling the fundament, Katherine, not about funding the fundamentals!”

    Yeahhhhhh newp.

On to the Gein show to see if THAT is also overrated.

  4. The last episode of The Diplomat season 2 has the unsexiest sex scene I’ve ever seen. #tv #theDiplomat

  5. Ten best TV/streaming drama series first seen in 2025

There are/were some absolutely stellar dramatic television and streaming series that either premiered or were first seen in 2025. Apple and Netflix dominate the list with eight of the Top 10.

As residents of “The Land of Enchantment” it is especially fun to see places we know in New Mexico on both Dark Winds and Plur1bus. With these two show being so well done, they generate a lot of pride, as well.

Kudos to all the shows listed and those associated with them.

    Peace!

  7. This character from Netflix’s The Diplomat S3 seems to be loosely based on my life story 😆 #Mastodaoine #TheDiplomat #Netflix #Clondalkin

  8. Watching the third season of #TheDiplomat more and more feels like actually watching #PrettyLittleLiars

  9. I quite enjoyed s3 of #theDiplomat, but what the hell went on between episodes 4 and 5? I know we had the “five months later” card, but it really felt as if a big chunk of story had been cut out, particularly with the handbrake turn with Dennison, and Callum appearing fully-formed out of nowhere.

Speaking of Callum, the guy’s a walking deus ex, he’s lazy writing and plotting personified.
