#Fiasco is a french comedic mini series on #netflix that i do like lots. Desaster after desaster in a documentary style accompagnying a young incapable but somehow cutesy [?] regisseur during the making of his first [and only, i've got to suspect] movie. Hilariously great!

I REALLY like the roughness of this.
Got to know it due to Vladmir on Netflix, that I do watch bc of Leo Woodall, and I'm intrigued - but at the same time I'm kind of ambivalent.

I was today years old when I finally did realize that this fabulous song by one of my favorite bands, Warpaint, is called discovery.🫣
[... and not "disco, very" which i never did understand...]

Does anyone know the movie #BIRD [2024]? Seems VERY interesting to me. So much so, that without having watched it I spend a hashtag that usually has to be earned by any content, #rebcommendations.

A very teen and very #RomCom that somehow got me during its ~35mins, even if I'm not the one for RomComs. <3

I'm paying for Apple TV+ for one month because #Murderbot <3 <3 <3. Was great but very short [!!!] and obv the books are much deeper, anyhow would totally recommend! Alexander Skarsgard, now newly on my actor's radar!
I also watched the movie #Fingernails which is... special. And also great. Deals with a "Certainty in love" testing machine in contrast to real and live happening love!

There is a TG4 documentary [2023] about the 8 queer women that were at the heart of the Irish revolution, description/overview here:

I happen to find it online for free and will watch it tomorrow, English subtitles are provided:

Years ago I LOVED the book ROOM by Emma Donoghue. It blew me away, I cried lots and multiple times during my reading - and never read anything by Donoghue again. Why? Don't know.
Just some weeks ago I picked up The Pull Of The Stars in the library, a novel where we get to spend just a few days during the spanish flu 1918 with nurse Julia Power in a war battled hospital where she's responsible for the maternity ward [or rather: closet] 1/x

🎶🎵🎶 I simply can't describe JUST HOW MUCH I'm in love with the music of Lola Young. ❤️🧡🩷🧡❤️
Every single song is a bliss, being 30 she's already created a full world of sparkling music that shines in all the colors there are. Thanks to @ruhepuls for the rec [who currently still is active only on Insta/Threads and TikTok, I think].

I'm able to understand series/movies featuring almost any US American EN dialect. Since #FISK I know that I also do understand Australian city talk. Since yesterday I'm proudly able to say that I ALSO comprehend spoken Tasmanian EN - as well as rural dialects. HOW do I know?
I did a reverse search for my fav cast of #OITNB, what stuff they've done recently + I found a gem when looking for #YaelStone: #BayOfFires, dark comedy series, Australian noir <3 -
Wow. Disclaimer is a miniseries starring [in the most glorious way this word literally means] Cate Blanchett, Kevin Kline, Sacha Baron Cohen, narrated by Indira Varma. The hardest slow burn with a real piece of an ending. Brilliant. Wow.
