I've been using my own private #VPN 24/7 for over a week now. It runs on a Raspberry Pi 3B with just one GB of RAM. Not a single issue. Throughput is fast enough for me, and it blocks ads through Pi-hole, which is installed on the same little machine.

#Wireguard ist nach dem #Raspbian #Trixie Update auch wieder repariert….
BTW: kann man #PiVPN einfach drüber installieren oder wäre das ne neuinstallation? PiVPN scheint nette Analysetools zur Fehlerbehebung zu haben - aber ich keine Zeit für ne PiHole/VPN Neuinstallation. (Aber eigentlich auch keine für ausufernde Fehlersuche 😬) -

PiVPN has been rock solid for me for many years, but after testing out WireGuard Easy - having your deployment containerised and having that web interface is pretty nice!

Er ist auch einfach zu konfigurieren. Die neue Version 6 ist super gelungen

#unplugtrump per Automation und Kurzbefehle immer über #Pivpn unterwegs mit dem IPhone surfen. So geht der ganze Datenverkehr auch unterwegs ohne Datenkraken und werbefrei über den #Pihole

einloggen das Gefühl von Sicherheit. Ich kann und will nicht Angst vor den großen #Datenkraken haben. Aber einfache Umsetzung wie #Mailbox.org, #Pihole, #Pivpn, unterwegs das #Wlan aus #_optout_nomap als Zusatz zu #SSID helfen schon sehr. Man merkt vom ersten Tag an wie es ruhiger mit der #Werbung wird. Sogar meiner Frau fällt das auf 😊 -

Auf meine Empfehlung hin wollte er sich beim dydns-Anbieter dedyn.io bzw. https://desec.io/ für seinen #pivpn / #wireguard anmelden. Aber das scheint (zur Zeit) nicht zu funktionieren.
Gibt es andere empfehlenswerte (die nicht auf AWS & Co hosten) Dienste? #Datenschutz #PrivatsphäreImNetz #DigitaleSelbsverteidigung #dyndnsdienst -
