But they're all trucks and SUV's. If you want an engine and wheels, then the price goes up. Not that this is a solution either, we have too many of them in the world. Believe it or not, I've loved cars since I was a teen, but climate change isn't going away by feeding our dependence on them.

@c_9 I'm reminded of that elevated expressway that fell over after the San Francisco earthquake in the 80's. Traffic was forced to re-route itself, having lost that highway .. and it actually managed just fine.
The Gardiner could terminate at Dunn Avenue, then we could tear down the elevated portion. The Lakeshore would replace the Gardiner. #PipeDreams

"That demonstration calmed officials' concerns that Dominion Energy's failure to maintain #cracks and #leaks — discovered at least five times over the past two decades — had neutralized the plant's ability to cool down its reactors if electricity failed."

I really want to buy a #flugelhorn this fall. But I can't decide whether I would actually take the time to rebuild the embouchure of yore, or if it would simply end up in the cupboard.
I have my bass guitar, but it's stacked away and 95% of the time I settle for keyboard bass. And there's the electric guitar, for simple rhythm parts, but I usually chop up an old loop instead. But brass is a different beast altogether. I imagine I'd put it to good use... Would I, though?? #pipeDreams

@werwolf totally, but the problem with email for site authentication is the site developer has to write the authentication mechanisms themselves, which leaves them open to security vulnerabilities.
In short, the site could store your password in plain text and you wouldn't know.
Using third party OAuth takes this requirement and concern away from the developer - if you self host your own OAuth all your authentication mechanisms take place on your own equipment, it would be great. #pipedreams
