And finally, here’s “Les Barricades Mystérieuses” AKA “The Mysterious Barricades” (https://youtu.be/vg5S9IVWVhc?is=Ngu8ZUm5nyv_Z_KL) composed by French Baroque composer, organist and harpsichordist François Couperin around 1715-1718ish. The poetic structure of this piece makes it a major inspiration for later French Baroque music.

“Suite in G Minor, Z.661” (https://youtu.be/rYoUrWrB2CE?is=oAuwZawFKZ_Jpxos) is from a group of dance suites published posthumously by Henry Purcell. This version is performed on a TRIPLE harp AKA the official traditional Welsh harp- a 16th century invention which features 3 parallel rows of strings and has NO pedals.

@analgesicsleep Little known fact, use the 1700s printing of the Vivaldi music that way when some A**HOLE lawyer tries to tell you You're violating "frozen" copyright you send them copies of winter from 1717 (or whenever) and tell them exactly what you think! Or so I've heard! (tries to hide "wall of shame" on own playlists/videos #BaroqueSun (It was kinda a compliment that the playing was good enough they thought they could go back in time and mess with me, that's cute

This is the 10th in a set of 12 string concertos that was published 1711. It’s considered to be one of the most influential sets of instrumental composition from the 18th century (it even inspired J.S. Bach!!)
