This has various traditional Indian dances: Tamil traditional dance Bharatanatyam, which utilizes geometric movements, Abhinaya (expressive facial gestures), and Tala (complex rhythmic footwork). The Northern Indian movement-based storytelling known as Kathak, Kuchipudi- a dramatic mimelike dance from South East India and an East Indian traditional dance style known as Odissi, which is most known for its use of Tribhangi postures/stances mimicking temple sculptures.
