Thanks for tuning in and for indulging my recent infatuation with the harp 😂 and huge thanks as always to @otheorange_tag for giving me the opportunity to host… idk when I’ll be hosting #BaroqueSun next but I do have something planned for Hispanic Heritage Month… Enjoy the rest of your Sunday, y’all 💕💕💕

  5. And finally, here’s “Les Barricades Mystérieuses” AKA “The Mysterious Barricades” (youtu.be/vg5S9IVWVhc?is=Ngu8ZU) composed by French Baroque composer, organist and harpsichordist François Couperin around 1715-1718ish. The poetic structure of this piece makes it a major inspiration for later French Baroque music.

  9. “Suite in G Minor, Z.661” (youtu.be/rYoUrWrB2CE?is=oAuwZa) is from a group of dance suites published posthumously by Henry Purcell. This version is performed on a TRIPLE harp AKA the official traditional Welsh harp- a 16th century invention which features 3 parallel rows of strings and has NO pedals.
